Abstract

A data processing system with a processor and memory is configured to: implement a feature pipeline to receive telemetry data generated in response to activity in a set of applications; analyze the telemetry data using a feature extraction unit of the feature pipeline to extract feature data from the telemetry data; operate a scoring pipeline to classify the user as working onsite or remotely based on the feature data extracted from the telemetry data, the scoring pipeline utilizing a machine-learning model trained to receive feature data as an input and to output a classification indicating that the user is working onsite at a location associated with the enterprise or remotely at a location not associated with the enterprise; and allocate computing and network resources using a resource allocation unit based on the classification.
