Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for enhancing a contrast characteristic of at least one base image (148) showing at least a portion of at least one marking (144) applied to a spectacle lens product (150), the method comprising: - generating at least one enhanced image (146) based on the at least one base image (148) showing at least the portion of the at least one marking (144) applied to the spectacle lens product (150) by using an image enhancement model (137), wherein the image enhancement model (137) is or comprises at least one machine learning model (138), wherein the machine learning model (138) is configured for enhancing at least one contrast characteristic in the enhanced image (146).
