A camera system (100) for imaging in harsh environments. The camera system comprises a body with a first tubular casing, a second tubular casing, and a longitudinal strut which couples the first tubular casing to the second tubular casing to rigidly maintain the first and second tubular casings in a parallel, side by side relationship. The first and second tubular casing both define a front aperture for providing access to their respective interior space. The camera system also comprises a camera mounting endcap arranged to be coupled to the body to seal both front apertures. The camera mounting endcap comprises at least two camera mounting formations for coupling cameras to the camera mounting endcap. The camera mounting endcap has a viewing port for each respective camera to allow each camera to view the harsh environment through a front aperture. The camera mounting formations are arranged to rigidly maintain the cameras in a parallel, side by side relationship.

A computer implemented method of populating a data structure suitable for conducting a survey in an environment, comprising: determining that a spatial unit of a set of spatial units is associated with a semantic classification label representative of an inspection asset; receiving inspection criteria associated with the inspection asset, wherein the inspection criteria comprises a threshold condition associated with an inspection sensor; receiving inspection sensor data, from the inspection sensor, representing the inspection asset; applying the threshold condition to the inspection sensor data to generate inspection data; and modifying an inspection data content of the spatial unit based on the inspection data.

A symmetrically performing motor includes an asymmetrical rotor. The rotor includes a core and a plurality of arcuately arranged magnets. The core includes a hub, a plurality of pole segments, and a plurality of bridges extending between and interconnecting respective ones of the pole segments to the hub. Each of the bridges has an axially varying width. The pole segments are swept in form such that the rotor core exhibits mirror asymmetry. Each of the pole segments includes a body, a head disposed radially adjacent the body, and a pair of arcuately spaced apart ears extending generally tangentially outwardly from the head. The head defines an arcuate outer head face extending along an outer rotor margin. Each of the ears defines a respective outer ear face disposed inward of the outer rotor margin. Each of the outer ear faces defines an ear angle relative to the outer rotor margin.

An aircraft landing gear shock absorber strut comprising an unseparated oleo-pneumatic shock absorber comprising: an outer cylinder defining a chamber; an inner cylinder slidably coupled to the outer cylinder; a fluid insertion pipe which extends into the chamber for introducing hydraulic liquid and gas into the chamber; and a valve for closing fluid insertion pipe to retain hydraulic liquid and gas within the chamber, wherein the fluid insertion pipe comprises an axially extendable tube and a temperature dependent actuator arranged to change the axial length of the tube based on the temperature within the chamber, wherein the actuator is arranged to shorten the tube when the temperature within the chamber increases and the actuator is arranged to lengthen the tube when the temperature within the chamber decreases.
