The invention relates to a method for testing a wire harness (100) on a wiring board (1), the wire harness comprising a plurality of wires (10) connected between a plurality of wiring connectors (14), the wiring connectors comprising respectively at least one electric wire terminal (12) associated with at least one of the wires. The method comprises: providing a plurality of test adapters (20, 20a, 20b), comprising a master test adapter (20b) having a power supply (3) and a satellite test adapter (20a), wherein each test adapter comprises at least one testing terminal (22) configured for being electrically connected to the at least one electric wire terminal of the respective wiring connector, connecting a first electric wire terminal of a first wire to the testing terminal of the master test adapter, connecting a second electric wire terminal of the first wire to the testing terminal of the satellite test adapter, powering, through the power supply, the master test adapter, powering, by the master test adapter, the satellite test adapter through the first wire, and testing an electrical connection between the master test adapter and the satellite test adapter through the first wire.
