System (1) for optimizing electrical braking operations onboard of a railway vehicle travelling along a railway line, the system (1) comprising at least a brake controller (2) and an electronic controller (3) which is configured to: - calculate, substantially continuously, values of a maximum regenerative electrical power usable by at least one of one or more onboard power consumer devices (10), one or more onboard rechargeable batteries (11), and an external electrical power supplying line (12) laid along the railway line and suitable to supply the railway vehicle while travelling; - based on each calculated value of the maximum regenerative electrical power usable, calculate substantially continuously, a corresponding electric braking curve; - provide, for a driver of the railway vehicle, based on the electric braking curve calculated and an actual speed of the railway vehicle, a positioning information (6) indicative of where to position the brake controller (2) to thereby obtain, via electrical braking, the calculated maximum regenerative electrical power usable.

The invention relates to a fuel cell system (10), comprising:- at least one fuel cell stack (12) adapted to produce electrical energy from at least one flow (180) of dihydrogen and a flow (200) of air, the or each fuel cell stack comprising a plurality of cells (22);- an enclosure (14) defining an inner space (34), in which the or each fuel cell stack is arranged, the enclosure comprising at least a ventilation inlet (40) and a ventilation outlet (42) for the ventilation of the inner space;- a thermal circuit (16) comprising a heat exchanger (50) adapted to cool the or each fuel cell stack and comprising at least a ventilation system (52) configured to create an airflow through the heat exchanger.The ventilation system is adapted to send at least part of said airflow into the inner space through the ventilation inlet.

Coolant vessel (1) for a cooling circuit (100) of a fuel cell system, characterized in that it comprises at least:- a tank (2) suitable to be connected to the cooling circuit;- a coolant (3) which is contained in the tank and is suitable to be circulated along the cooling circuit, wherein the coolant (3) comprises at least one component to be deionized;- a deionizing cartridge (4) which is removably connected to and is at least partially inserted inside the tank (2), wherein the deionizing cartridge (4) is configured to deionize said at least one component to thereby maintain conductivity of the coolant (3) below a predetermined threshold.

The invention is a method of cooling air in a vehicle using a cold storage unit (60) in the refrigeration cycle. The air conditioning system and its cold storage unit is adapted to work according to the operation of the vehicle. The method produces cold in excess to be stored in the cold storage unit (60), using the phase change heating of materials, in at least an operation mode of the system. This cold in excess allows to cool the supply air to the comfort volume, in at least one other operation mode. These charge/discharge of the cold storage unit (60) and the refrigeration cycle associated could correspond to a minimization of consumption criteria of the vehicle, for example, a regenerative braking period and a traction/coasting period, or alternatively, according to the optimization of the variable condenser capacity of the refrigeration cycle.

This converter has entrance terminals connected to a secondary of a transformer and output terminals connected to a DC motor of a railway vehicle. It comprises: - a main bridge having a first pair of terminals connected to the entrance terminals and a second pair of terminals connected to the output terminals, each branch comprising a controlled power semiconductor device (Ti) in series with an uncontrolled power semiconductor electronic device (Di); - a snubber bridge comprising a first pair of terminals connected to the entrance terminal and a second pair of terminals connected together by a capacitor (Ks), each branch comprising a controlled power semiconductor device (Tsi), said controlled power semiconductor devices are switched on or off by a control unit so that the capacitor stores energy from the secondary and releases it to the motor at the end of the conductive period in traction mode or to the secondary at the beginning of the conductive period in a regenerative braking mode.

The installation (15) has on-board controllers (18) fixed on a ground (16) and consignment tables, and channel resources (2-6) adapted to a single controller. Each table is fixed to each resource and used to store data relating to management of vehicles. A resources authorization and release unit defines a first vehicle (12) of an electronic bulletin logging to permit entry of resources of a second vehicle. A reading unit and a checking unit allow entry of the second vehicle on a track resource only if the electronic bulletin logging issued by the first vehicle permits entry of the resources. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing vehicle traffic on a railway network.
