A sole (10) includes a cushion layer (101) that is elastically deformable, a bottom plate (200) provided below the cushion layer, a top plate (300) provided above the cushion layer, and at least one pin holding member that holds a spike pin. The bottom plate (200) has a plate body (210), and a base portion (220) that holds the pin holding member. The base portion (220) has an upper surface (220S) formed at a position raised from an upper surface (210S) of the plate body. The cushion layer (101) has a first region located on the base portion (220), and a second region located on the plate body. The second region includes a receiving space capable of receiving a part of the first region when a compressive load in an up-down direction acts on the cushion layer.

A sole (2A) has a ground contact surface (2b) and a supporting surface (2a) configured to support a bottom of a foot of a wearer, and includes a first base portion (10A) and a core portion (20). The first base portion (10A) is formed of a foam material and is formed of a layered portion having a thickness direction corresponding to an up-down direction. The core portion (20) is located on a side of the ground contact surface (2b) with respect to the first base portion(10A), and is formed of a foam material lower in hardness than the foam material forming the first base portion (10A). Assuming that the up-down direction is defined as an axial direction, the core portion (20) has an enlarged portion having a cross-sectional area increasing in the axial direction from one to the other of a side of the supporting surface (2a) and the side of the ground contact surface (2b). At least a part of a peripheral surface of the enlarged portion is configured as an unrestrained surface that is opened without being covered by other members.

Provided is a shoe member including: a first member and a second member, in which the first member is formed of a foam, at least a portion of the second member is embedded in the first member, the first member and the second member are directly joined to each other, and one of the first member and the second member is made of a material softer than a material of the remaining one.

A shoe (300) according to the present embodiment includes: a first groove portion (111) that extends forward from a medial foot side toward a lateral foot side on a bottom surface (112) of a sole (100); and a second groove portion (122) that extends forward from a bottom surface side toward an upper surface side of the sole (100) on a medial-foot-side side surface (124) of the sole (100), in which a groove width at a medial-foot-side end portion (111a) of the first groove portion (111) and a groove width at a bottom-surface-side end portion (122a) of the second groove portion (122) at least partially overlap with each other along a direction of a boundary between the bottom surface (112) and the medial-foot-side side surface (124).

An upper (2) includes a base body (5) configured to cover at least a part of a foot of a wearer, and an enclosure (6) that is disposed inside the base body (5). The enclosure (6) includes a medial portion (6M) that is disposed on a medial foot side of an accommodation space (30), a lateral portion (6L) that is disposed on a lateral foot side of the accommodation space (30), and a lower portion (6B) that is disposed on a lower side of the accommodation space (30). The enclosure (6) is configured to enclose at least a part of the foot of the wearer from below. The enclosure (6) is formed by combining a plurality of linear bodies (60). A shoelace (4) is connected to the medial portion (6M) and the lateral portion (6L), respectively, via string passing portions (52) that are provided in the base body (5).

A method for producing a resin foam product (5) with an internal cavity, the method including: a step of preparing a composition including a curable material and a foaming agent (S101); a step of forming a resin structure with an internal cavity communicating with an outer space by curing the composition (S102); a step of blowing a fluid to the resin structure (S103); and a step of fabricating the resin foam product by foaming the resin structure with the fluid blown thereto (S104).
