A seat assembly (100) configured to be employed in vehicle seats such as aircraft passenger seats. The seat assembly includes a seat frame (102) having first and second spaced frame members (108a, 108b) and first and second spaced transverse beams. A plurality of springs (112) positioned proximate an aft end of the seat frame generally above the second transverse beam span between the first and second frame members. A support member (116a, 116b) is attached to the plurality of springs and to a seat back (106) attachable to the seat frame. A cushion assembly (104) mounts on the seat frame such that the aft end rests on the plurality of springs while the forward end rests on the front transverse beam. In use, as the aft end of the cushion assembly deflects downward toward the second transverse beam the forward end simultaneously rotates around the first transverse beam.

A steam oven (20) for use in an aircraft galley (200) is provided, comprising: a housing; a heating compartment comprising an outlet (40) configured to expel at least steam (S) from the heating compartment; at least one diffuser (28); a conduit (26) connecting the outlet (40) of the heating compartment to an inlet (30) of the at least one diffuser (28); and at least one fan (32) configured to drive a flow of air (A) through the housing, and to expel the flow of air (A) from the housing and towards a front of the steam oven (20); wherein the at least one diffuser (28) is configured to release the steam (S) from the heating compartment into the flow of air (A), such that the steam (S) is expelled with the flow of air (A) from the housing and towards the front portion of the steam oven (20).

A ceiling-mounted delivery assembly (100) for a cabin (10) of a vehicle includes a conveyance system (102) that has a pair of guide rails (108), and a trolley (104) operatively connected to the conveyance system for movement relative thereto. The trolley includes a control box (106) having a pair of wheels (110). Each wheel is operatively connected to a respective one of the pair of guide rails. The control box includes a plurality of pulley drums (112) extending from the control box. The trolley includes cable connection system (114) having a plurality of cables (116). Each cable attached to a respective one of the pulley drums of the control box. The trolley includes a tray (107) operatively connected to the cables of the cable connection system to be moved up and down relative to the control box.

A drain valve assembly comprising: a valve housing having an upper section (420) and a lower section (410), the lower section (410) comprising an inlet port (500) and an outlet port (600) and a water collection chamber between the inlet port (500) and the outlet port (600), the upper section (420) including a pressure diaphragm (160) across the upper section (600), the drain valve assembly further including a poppet valve (800) positioned in the housing and extending between the lower section (410) and the upper section (420), the poppet valve (800) arranged to fluidly seal the lower section from the upper section (410), the poppet valve in the water collection chamber being arranged to be normally sealingly positioned across the outlet port (600) to prevent water exiting the water collection chamber to the outlet port (600), the poppet valve (800) attached to the pressure diaphragm (160) in the upper section (420), the drain valve assembly further comprising a pressure line for providing a pressure signal to the upper section (420) such that when the pressure from the pressure line in the upper section (420) exceeds a predetermined opening pressure it causes the pressure diaphragm (160) to lift and to thus lift the poppet out of sealing engagement across the outlet port (600) such that water can drain to the outlet port from the water collection chamber; wherein the poppet valve (800) has a hollow body defining a channel (850) from a first end of the poppet valve (800), adjacent the outlet (600), and a second end of the poppet valve (800) adjacent the pressure diaphragm (160), and wherein the housing defines a vacuum cavity (810) across the second end of the channel, such that a negative pressure acting on one end of the poppet valve is balanced by a negative pressure acting in the opposite direction at the other end.

There is provided herein a door for an aircraft galley oven including: a frame; an external panel fixed to the frame; an internal panel selectively moveable proximally and distally with respect to the frame between a retracted position and an extended position; and a reversibly compressible insulation layer between the external panel and the internal panel and fixed to the external panel and the internal panel, wherein the compressible insulation layer is compressed when the internal panel is in the retracted position and expanded when the internal panel is in the extended position. There is also provided an aircraft galley oven including such a door.

The insert can include a LED mounted on or within the body, the LED readable by a Personal Electronic Device (PED) (107) and having insert host network information to allow the PED to connect to the insert wireless network when the wireless network module is in the host mode. The wireless network module can be configured to receive aircraft network information from the PED in the host mode to connect to the aircraft network when in the client mode.

There is provided herein an aircraft galley container including a door, a latch mechanism (2), and a lock (38). The latch mechanism (2) is positionable in a latched position preventing opening of the door and an unlatched position permitting opening of the door. The latch mechanism (2) includes a handle, a pair of rods (4) and a rotatable plate (8). The rotatable plate (8) is coupled to the handle and configured to be rotated by the handle and to convert rotational movement of the handle to linear movement of the pair of rods (4) to place the latch mechanism (2) in the latched and unlatched positions. The lock (38) is configured to selectively prevent the rotatable plate (8) from rotation to maintain the latch mechanism (2) in the latched position.
