An actuator for actuating a switch of a powered device, the actuator having a plurality of positions in which the actuator is magnetically held in position, the actuator comprising: a first actuator portion comprising a magnet and a first magnetic element having a first plurality of limbs, whereby magnetic flux of the magnet is directed through the first plurality of limbs; and a second actuator portion comprising a second magnetic element having a second plurality of limbs for receiving the magnetic flux from the first plurality of limbs, wherein the second actuator portion is movable relative to the first actuator portion; the actuator having a plurality of positions in which limbs of the first plurality of limbs align with limbs of the second plurality of limbs thereby to couple the magnetic flux through the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element, the coupled magnetic flux resisting relative movement between the first actuator portion and the second actuator portion.

A power tool comprises a housing and an electrical power source. A control circuit is electrically connected to the electrical power source and configured to control at least one operation of the power tool. A power tool condition indication circuit is electrically connected to the control circuit comprising a zener diode configured to be conductive at a threshold voltage. Wherein the power tool condition indication circuit is configured generate a first indication signal when a voltage controlled by the control circuit exceeds the threshold voltage and generate a second indication signal when a voltage controlled by the control circuit is below the threshold voltage.

An impact power tool includes a motor, a controller, and an impact mechanism configured to rotationally drive an output spindle. The controller is configured to control power delivered to the motor, during a third phase of operation after a second phase of operation and starting upon expiration of a predetermined time period. The third phase has one or more of a third non-zero target rotational speed, a third duty cycle setting, a third conduction band setting, or a third advance angle setting. The controller is configured to control power delivered to the motor, during a fourth phase of operation after the third phase upon detection of a reduction in load on the output spindle or cessation of impacting. The fourth phase has one or more of a fourth non-zero target rotational speed, a fourth duty cycle setting, a fourth conduction band setting, or a fourth advance angle setting.

A router includes a router body and a router base adjustably connected to the router body. A motor is housed in the router body and an output member is driven by the motor. A reciprocating saw blade includes an elongated blade body extending along a blade axis and having a rear end, a front end, a cutting edge having a plurality of teeth, a non-cutting edge opposite the cutting edge; and a tang coupled to the rear end and configured to be received in a blade holder of a powered reciprocating saw. The cutting edge includes inclined and declined cutting edge portions. The inclined cutting edge portion extends away from the blade axis and toward the front end at an acute first angle and extends from a first tooth to a second tooth. The first tooth is closer to the rear end and closer to the blade axis than the second tooth. The declined cutting edge portion extends toward the blade axis and toward the front end at an acute second angle that is greater than the first angle and extends from a third tooth to the first tooth. The first tooth is closer to the front end and closer to the blade axis than the third tooth.

The bearing bridge is received at least partially within the end insulator. The annular body of the end insulator includes at least one peripheral opening located within the motor housing, and the bearing bridge is radially piloted relative to the motor housing via a retaining member received through the at least one peripheral opening.
