A printing system comprising a print engine for printing on print media by means of printing elements, a print controller to control the printing on print media by a print engine and a cleaning system for cleaning an environment of the printing elements by means of at least one cleaning material, wherein the cleaning system is provided with at least one safety switch and at least one mechanical lock to respectively electrically shut down and physically isolate at least a part of the cleaning system in order to enable safe access for the operator for replacement of the at least one cleaning material during printing.

A bonding apparatus that bonds a first object and a second object, including a stage including a relay unit configured to hold the first object, and a holding unit configured to hold the second object, a head configured to hold the first object, a driving unit configured to drive at least one of the stage and the head to bond the first object and the second object, a first camera configured to capture an object on the stage, and a control unit configured to align the first object held by the head and the second object held by the holding unit based on results of capturing, by the first camera, the first object held by the relay unit and the second object held by the holding unit.

To allow for printing on print media with pre-formed wrinkles a printer (1) is provided, which comprises :- a print assembly (2) which prints on a portion of a print medium (60, 70) at a print zone;- a transport mechanism (13) for moving the print medium (60, 70) with respect to the print assembly (2) in a first direction (X); and- a suction assembly (20) comprising:- a plurality of suction chambers (21-25), wherein at least one suction chamber (21-25) faces a print zone, and at least one other suction chamber (21-25) is arranged upstream and/or downstream of the print zone facing suction chamber (23) in the first direction (X), characterized in that the suction assembly (20) further comprises suction reduction means (51-52) configured to selectively prevent or reduce suction in the at least one other suction chamber (21-25).

An image reading apparatus for reading image information from a sheet includes a cover unit, a sheet feeding member, a conveying guide, and a reading unit including a transparent member and a reading portion. The cover unit is rotatable between a closed position where the cover unit forms a sheet conveying passage in cooperation with the conveying guide and an open position where the sheet conveying passage is open. In a state in which the cover unit is positioned in the closed position, the transparent member is exposed to an outside of the image reading apparatus by rotation of the conveying guide and the reading unit.

The disclosure is directed to a inspection apparatus comprising: one or more memory devices that store a set of instructions; and one or more processors that execute the set of instructions to: acquire a reference image in units of pages corresponding to a printed material, set an inspection setting of the printed material via the reference image in units of pages, set a first region, in accordance with a user operation, as an inspection region on a reference image of a first page for a matching inspection for inspecting whether or not information read from a printed image matches among a plurality of inspection regions, and set a second region, in accordance with a user operation, as an inspection region of a matching target of the first region on a reference image of a second page different from the first page.

A toner includes toner particles containing a binder resin and a release agent. The binder resin contains an amorphous resin A and a crystalline polyester C. An image forming apparatus (IF) includes a cartridge (C), an apparatus body (100) including a pump portion (35), a developer container (12) including a toner accommodating portion (12a), and a tube (24). A printing apparatus includes first and second storage portions (4A,4B) configured to store first and second containers (60) that store a liquid to be supplied to a printhead (11), a first intermediate tank (220) configured to, between the printhead and the first container, store the liquid to be supplied from the first container to the printhead, and a second intermediate tank (220) configured to, between the printhead and the second container, store the liquid to be supplied from the second container to the printhead The first and second storage portions (4A,4B) are arranged in a height direction of the printing apparatus. A liquid ejection apparatus (1) includes an ejection head (22) configured to include an ejection port surface in which ejection ports for ejecting liquid are arranged, a cap (181) configured to be movable to a capping position where the ejection port surface is capped, and to an uncapped position where the ejection port surface is not capped, and a cleaning mechanism (191) configured to be movable, independently of the cap, to a cleaning position where the ejection head is cleaned, and to a standby position where the ejection head is not cleaned. The cap at the uncapped position is positioned above the cleaning mechanism at the standby position.

The first elastic members and the second elastic members have spherical shapes.

The monolayer-type photosensitive layer is a surface layer of the electrophotographic photosensitive member. The charge-generating substance is one of metal-free phthalocyanine or oxytitanium phthalocyanine. The silicon atom-containing particles are one of silica particles or silicone resin particles. The toner includes toner particles each containing a polyester resin having a polyethylene terephthalate segment.
