The present invention relates to a laundry washing machine (1) comprising a washing tub (3) external to a rotatable washing drum (4) adapted to receive laundry. The machine further comprises a level sensing device (19) having a pressure sensor (50) suitable for determining the liquid level inside the washing tub (3). The level sensing device (19) further comprises an air chamber (51; 151) connectable to a detection outlet (60) associated to the washing tub (3). A liquid flowing path (61) is defined between the detection outlet (60) and the air chamber (51; 151), wherein the liquid may flow between the washing tub (3) and the air chamber (51; 151). In a mounted configuration, in which the air chamber (51; 151) is associated to the washing tub (3) and the laundry washing machine (1) is positioned in its working position, the path (61) is shaped such that at least a section of the path, in a plane perpendicular to a flowing direction (V) of the liquid, has the upper part comprising a rectilinear portion (64a; 64b; 164a).

The present invention relates to an induction cooking hob (10) including a number of induction coils (12). Said induction coils (12) are arranged on the induction cooking hob (10) according to a predetermined scheme. At least a portion of the induction cooking hob (10) is covered by the induction coils (12). At least one heating area is formed on the induction cooking hob (10) by activating a single induction coil (12) or a combination of adjacent induction coils (12). A laundry washing machine ( 100 ) is provided. The laundry washing comprises: - a washing tub ( 107 ) configured to be supplied with washing liquid for treating laundry; - a rotatable drum ( 110 ), in which laundry ( 112 ) to be washed can be loaded, mounted in the washing tub ( 107 ); - a drain pump ( 170 ) operable to selectively cause washing liquid located in the washing tub ( 107 ) to be discharged; - an overflow control system ( 193, 194; 193, 194' ) for detecting an occurrence of an overflow condition of the laundry washing machine ( 100 ) in which a level of washing liquid collected at the bottom of the laundry washing machine ( 100 ) is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, and for driving the drain pump ( 170 ) to discharge washing liquid from the washing tub ( 107 ) in case an overflow condition has been detected, the overflow control system ( 193, 194; 193, 194' ) comprising a switching unit ( 193 ) and a detection unit ( 194; 194' ), wherein: - the switching unit ( 193 ) comprises a switch ( 420 ) having a first terminal connected to a terminal ( TL ) of an AC electric power supply and a second terminal connected to the detection unit ( 194; 194' ), the switch ( 420 ) being configured to electrically connect the first terminal with the second terminal in a closed configuration and to electrically insulate the first terminal from the second terminal in an open configuration, the switching unit ( 193 ) being configured to switch the switch ( 420 ) to the closed configuration when the level of washing liquid collected at the bottom of the laundry washing machine ( 100 ) is equal to or higher than said predetermined threshold, and - the detection unit ( 194; 194' ) is configured to detect an overflow condition occurrence and to drive the drain pump ( 170 ) to discharge washing liquid from the washing tub ( 107 ) when the switch ( 420 ) is in the closed configuration.

The present invention relates to a laundry washing machine (1) comprising: a cabinet (2) containing a washing tub (3), in which washing liquid may be loaded; a rotatable drum (4), rotatably accommodated in the washing tub (3) for containing the laundry to be washed; a water load system (5) for conveying washing water into the washing tub (3); and a discharge system (6) for discharging waste washing liquid outside the laundry washing machine (1). Furthermore, the discharge system comprises a filter unit (7) which comprises: a filter receiving body (8), positioned inside the cabinet (2) and accessible via a filter opening (9) provided in the cabinet (2); a filter element (10) removably positioned into the filter receiving body (8); a removable closing element (11) for selectively closing the filter opening (9), so as to selectively allowing or impeding the access to the filter receiving body (8). The laundry washing machine further comprises a flexible connecting device (12) connecting the removable closing element (11) to a portion of the laundry washing machine (1). The flexible connecting device (12) allows the removable closing element (11) to be always connected to a portion of the laundry washing machine (1). Thus, the risk that such a removable closing element (11) may be lost or moved away from the laundry washing machine (1), when it is temporarily removed for allowing the removal/insertion of the filter element (10), is eliminated.

The present invention relates to a method for assembling a laundry dryer (32) including a heat pump system with a closed refrigerant circuit, said method comprises the steps of: providing components (12, 14, 16, 18) for the refrigerant circuit, wherein at least two components (12, 14, 16, 18) are coupleable by interconnecting a first end piece (26) and a second end piece (28) of refrigerant pipes (22); enlarging the first end piece (26) of the refrigerant pipe (22), so that the inner diameter of the first end piece (26) is marginally bigger than the outer diameter of the second end piece (28); deforming the enlarged portion of the first end piece (26) from the outer side, so that the second end piece (28) is coaxially insertable into the first end piece (28); inserting the second end piece (28) into the first end piece (28); and welding together the first end piece (26) and the second end piece (28). Further, the present invention relates to a laundry dryer (32) including a heat pump system with a closed refrigerant circuit. Moreover, the present invention relates to a heat pump system with a closed refrigerant circuit for a laundry dryer (32).
