Zusammenfassung
A hose connector assembly (10) includes a connector housing (12) that defines an interface opening (14) and a hose receiver (16). A latch (18) is operably coupled with the connector housing (12) and is spring-biased to a latched position. A first hose (20) is configured to engage with the hose receiver (16) and supplies fluid to a patient support interface (22) of a patient support apparatus (24). A second hose (26) is configured to engage with the hose receiver (16) and is smaller in diameter than the first hose (20). A data line (30) is configured to engage a data interface of the patient support apparatus (24). A bottom cover (32) extends over the first and second hoses (20, 26) and a portion of the hose receiver (16) and a top cover (34) extends over the bottom cover (32) and at least partially conceals the latch (18). Fluid is configured to pass through the first and second hoses (20, 26) into the connector housing (12) in a substantially linear direction thereby minimizing noise and fluid loss of the connector assembly. |

A linear AC pump of the apparatus has an arm that reciprocates linearly back and forth to move a pair of diaphragms to pressurize air that is output from the linear AC pump. The apparatus also includes a DC motor driver having an H-bridge that receives the DC voltage from the power converter as an input and that generates a square wave as an output that is coupled to the linear AC pump to drive the arm back and forth. The pressurized air from the linear AC pump is used to inflate one or more bladders of an air mattress, for example. |

The controller (28) is configured to determine a location of the at least one tag (12, 42, 44) within a predefined area based on information from the at least one receiver (26), correlate the type of button press from the at least one tag (12, 42, 44) with a message (30), and generate a notification (32) to communicate the message (30). |

The base, the first leg, and the second leg define a channel for disposing a cable therein. The first end of the first leg is spaced from the second end of the second leg in the open position and defines an opening therebetween into the channel. The first leg engages the second leg in the closed position. A door at least partially extends across the opening when the first leg is disposed in the open position. The door is movable against a bias for inserting the cable through the opening into the channel and inhibiting removal of the cable from the channel through the opening. |

A battery protection circuit (100) that prevents an over-discharge condition of a battery (16) and a reverse polarity battery charger protection circuit (200). The battery protection circuit (200) includes a battery input (70) configured to receive a battery voltage, a reference voltage input (19) configured to receive a low battery reference voltage, a comparator (U15) for comparing a first signal indicative of the battery voltage with a second signal indicative of the reference voltage and generating an output indicative of a low battery voltage, a feedback resistor (R172) coupling the output of the comparator (U15) to the reference voltage input to create hysteresis and a battery disconnect circuit (100) to disconnect the battery voltage applied to a load (34). The reverse polarity battery charger protection circuit (200) has relay and a diode to detect reverse polarity connection of the charge to the battery (16). |
