Methods and systems are provided for autonomous vehicle operation for collision avoidance. One method involves identifying an autonomous operating mode and one or more settings associated with the autonomous operating mode prior to entering an autonomous collision avoidance mode in response to an output from a collision avoidance system, and after entering the autonomous collision avoidance mode, automatically restoring autonomous operation upon deactivation of the autonomous collision avoidance mode. For example, the autonomous operating mode may be automatically reinitiated based on the current vehicle status using the one or more settings in response to deactivation of the autonomous collision avoidance mode when it is determined that the autonomous operating mode is viable based on a relationship between a current vehicle status and the one or more settings associated with the autonomous operating mode.

Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and related devices and fabrication methods are provided for programmable memory devices configurable to support multiply-accumulate (MAC) operations. An exemplary microelectromechanical device includes readout electrodes, an intermediate electrode disposed on a deflectable structure of semiconductor material, a first set of individually programmable elements on a first portion of the deflectable structure to influence deflection of the first portion to influence a first variable capacitance between a first readout electrode and the intermediate electrode based on a programmed state of the programmable elements, and a second set of individually programmable elements on a second portion of the deflectable structure to influence deflection of the second portion to influence a second variable capacitance between a second readout electrode and the intermediate electrode based on a programmed state of the programmable elements.

In some examples, a cabin pressure control system includes a valve system including a valve configured to fluidically couple an internal environment internal to an aircraft and external environment external to the aircraft. The valve system includes a primary controller, a secondary controller, a first valve control system, and a second valve control system. The primary controller is configured to control a first outflow valve and a second outflow valve. The secondary controller is configured to control the first outflow valve and the second outflow flow when the primary controller is unavailable or ineffective. The first valve control system is configured to control the first outflow valve and the second outflow flow when the secondary controller is unavailable or ineffective. The second valve control system is configured to control the first outflow valve and the second outflow flow when the first valve control system is unavailable or ineffective.

Devices, systems, and methods for providing point heat detectors based on surface mounted thermistors are described herein. One circuit board for a point heat detector of a fire sensing system includes a circuit board body having number of corners, at least one hole provided in the circuit board body proximate to one of the corners, and a surface mounted thermistor mounted on at least one corner.

A pressure sensor component comprising a base wafer comprising a first piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge that is configured to measure a first pressure range associated with a first pressure that is applied onto a surface of the base wafer; and a top wafer that is coupled to the surface, the top wafer comprising (i) a diaphragm that includes a pin element, (ii) a second piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge that is configured to measure a second pressure range that is associated with a force that opposes the first pressure at a base of the pin element, and (iii) a third piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge that is configured to measure a third pressure range that is associated with beam stress at a perimeter of the diaphragm.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for protective assemblies for sensors. In some embodiments, a protective assembly comprises a substrate. In some embodiments, the protective assembly further comprises at least one enclosing port adhered to the substrate. In some embodiments, the protective assembly further comprises one or more electronic components disposed within a cavity of the enclosing port and wire-bonded to the substrate. In some embodiments, the protective assembly further comprises a gel material disposed within the cavity such that it covers the one or more electronic components. In some embodiments, the protective assembly further comprises a fluoropolymer polyimide film (FEP) disposed proximate to a surface of the gel material.

A moisture detecting apparatus comprising an input port; an output port; a housing that is configured between the input port at a first end and the output port at a second end; an adsorbent material that is configured in a flow path of an inner cavity within the housing; and an electrical port comprising a controller that is coupled to the adsorbent material via one or more pin bars, wherein the controller is configured to (i) measure, using the one or more pin bars, one or more voltages on the adsorbent material and (ii) determine an electrical property of the adsorbent material based on the one or more voltages.

Devices, systems, and methods for determining a change in a field of view of a camera for an apron area of an airport are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a memory and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory to compare a ground center line (GCL) mask, generated from an image of an apron area of an airport captured by a camera, with a reference GCL mask, determine whether a field of view (FOV) of the camera has changed from a calibrated FOV of the camera based on the comparison, and generate a notification based on the determination.

A first video camera identifies an object of interest in a video frame of a video stream captured by the first video camera. A region of interest (ROI) is cropped out in the video frame of the video stream that corresponds to the object of interest, wherein the cropped-out region including less than all of the video frame of the video stream. The cropped-out region of interest (ROI) of the video frame of the video stream is sent to a second video camera and the second video camera executes a video analytics algorithm on the cropped-out region of interest (ROI) of the video frame of the video stream, resulting in a video analytics result. The second video camera sends the video analytics result to the first video camera.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for dual yoke magnetization. Two magnetic yokes (302a, 302b) may be configured with spiral profiles. A first magnetic yoke of the two magnetic yokes may be disposed proximate to a first side of a substantially disc-shaped magnet (304), wherein the substantially disc-shaped magnet defines a cavity approximately at its center. A second magnetic yoke of the two magnetic yokes may be disposed proximate to a second side of the substantially disc-shaped magnet, wherein the second side is opposite the first side. Magnetization may be induced in the substantially disc-shaped magnet via activating the two magnetic yokes.

Techniques for identifying unauthorized modifications made to assets within a facility are described. In an example, an asset modification indication representative of a first modification made to a first asset within a facility is received, where the asset modification indication comprises a first asset identifier associated with the asset. An operation shift report for the facility is then received, where the operation shift report is indicative of modifications made to assets within the facility. The operation shift report is then analyzed to extract a first set of modification records, wherein each of the first set of modification records comprises an asset identifier corresponding to an asset and modifications made to the asset. Thereafter, it is determined that a modification record corresponding to the first asset is not present in the first set of modification records using at least one correlation parameter. Accordingly, an investigation with respect to the first modification is initiated.

Techniques for managing workflow are disclosed. A tag creation signal is received upon interaction with an actionable component of a collaborative work platform having a workflow that includes a plurality of stages, each having a stage descriptor linked therewith. The tag creation signal indicates a request to define a tag for being linked with one of the stages. Acquisition of user-defined tag content is then initiated for being associated with the tag. The tag content is then parsed to derive a tag descriptor. Further, a correlation is determined between the tag descriptor and the stage descriptor linked with each of the plurality of correlated stages. A stage correlating with the tag descriptor is then identified and the tag content is associated with the identified stage. Further, upon initialization of the identified stage, an alert generation signal is generated to indicate the user-defined tag content associated with the identified stage.
