A data acquiring unit (30) is continuously gathering data of condition and/or performance of at least one system's component, a diagnostic unit (32) is communicatively coupled to and configured to process the data as gathered by the acquiring unit (30), and a forwarding unit for communicating data with a cloud-computing-net (22), the method comprising the semi-automatic or full-automatic execution of the following computer implemented steps of determining (40) by a remote computing unit (26) a running sequence of operation of the system (18) to execute at least one function of the system; Starting an operation action from the determined running sequence by means of the remote computing unit (26); Causing the acquiring unit (30) to acquire measurement data specified to the operation action; Causing a transfer of the acquired data from the acquiring unit (30) to the diagnostic unit (32); Causing a forwarding of processed data from the diagnostic unit (32) to the cloud-net (22); Retrieving the processed data from the cloud-net (22); Analysing condition data by processing the retrieved data from the cloud-net (22); Issuing (48) an analytical report that indicates the diagnosis result and making the report available for retrieval in the cloud-net (22). |

The invention is about a method and system of commissioning a passenger conveyor system after installation of at least one of its component. The system comprising a diagnostic unit (32) communicatively coupled to and configured to monitor the at least one installed component, and a control system configured to operate the system, wherein the method comprising the automated execution of the following steps for auditing the operation of the at least one installed component by means of a computing unit before taking the component into normal use. First, a running sequence of operation of the at least one installed component is started (40); Then acquiring (42) parametrized measurement data being receivable in relation to the condition and/or the operation of the at least one installed system component during the running sequence; Transferring (44) the measuring data to the diagnostic unit (32); Setting (46) one or more limit values for the parametrized measuring data as acquired and defining therewith a desired performance range of the at least one component; Determining by the diagnostic unit the extent to which the acquired measurement data extend the defined performance range beyond the one or more limit values; And issuing (48) an electronic report indicating the determination result. |

Modern elevators with position dependent maximum allowed speed adjust the travelling according to the location in the elevator shaft (100). When the elevator car (102) is closer to the bottom or the top of the elevator shaft (100) the travelling speed is reduced so that in case of accident the impact force to the safety buffers (116) is reduced. The disclosed arrangement comprises a mechanism that limits the travelling speed of the elevator when the position information is not received so that the elevator can still be operated. |

Zusammenfassung
The invention relates to a traction sheave elevator (10), having an elevator car (12) and a counterweight (14) suspended on elevator ropes (16). The elevator has an elevator controller which has at least one door controller connected to a door status indicator (32) indicating the status of the car door. According to the invention at least one load weighing device (24, 28) measures a force of the elevator ropes (16), and the elevator controller has a load determination logic calculating the car load from the output signal of the load weighing device. The load determination logic performs a calibration run by measuring the output signal of the load weighing device (24, 28) at two specified different height levels of the elevator car (12), whereby the car door is monitored to be continuously closed during the calibration run. The load determination logic (30) determines from the two measurements the car position dependency of the output signal of the load weighing device (24, 28) for calculating a car load value. |
