EP&C Patent Attorneys aus Rijswijk wurde bereits 1939 als Exterpatent in Den Haag gegründet und erhielt 1995 durch die Fusion mit der Kanzlei Polak & Charlouis seinen heutigen Namen. Mit Büros in Rijswijk, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Sittard, Wageningen und dem belgischen Turnhout begleitet die Kanzlei niederländische und belgische Mandanten ebenso wie Kunden aus den USA, China, Japan und Korea. A system (10) for printing indicia onto a surface of a container (12) includes an elongate web (18) having indicia thereon; a web drum (54) for moving the elongate web (18); a continuous container transfer station (70, 43) having a container holder for releasably securing a container (12). The continuous container transfer station (43, 70) is configured for moving the container (12) from an infeed container station (42) to a web-container contact location (45). The container holder includes a motor system for moving the container (12) into contact with the web (18) and for moving the container (12) away from contract with the web (18) and includes at least one additional motor for rotating the container (12). Upon contact of the container (12) to the web (18), the indicia is transferred from the web (18) to the container (12). The at least one additional motor rotates the container (12) whereby a tangential velocity of the container (12) is substantially equal to a surface velocity of the web (12) at a point of the web-container contact location (45). |

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for establishing a monitoring network in a ship using magnetic-field communication. The method includes: a signal generation step in which at least one sensor installed in each of a plurality of compartments senses an environment and a state within the corresponding compartment and generates a signal including sensing data; a signal reception step in which a multi-access access point (AP) installed in each compartment receives a signal generated from a sensor installed in the same compartment; an AP-to-AP signal transmission and reception step in which a plurality of multi-access APs respectively installed in the compartments mutually transmit and receive signals using a magnetic-field communication scheme; a monitoring-system connection step in which at least one of the plurality of multi-access APs is connected to a central monitoring system of the ship through a wired network; and a monitoring step in which the central monitoring system analyzes data from all of the sensors installed in the ship and monitors a state of the ship in real time. |
