A method for producing vinyl acetate, the method including at least: a step (1) of reacting ethylene, acetic acid and oxygen to obtain a crude product containing vinyl acetate; a step (2) of separating a gaseous composition containing ethylene and vinyl acetate from the crude product; and a step (3) of introducing at least a part of the gaseous composition into a gas washing column, and removing vinyl acetate from the gaseous composition, wherein the gas washing column has at least an outlet (A) and an outlet (B); a total content of acetic acid and water in a liquid composition (α) to be taken out from the outlet (A) is 70 mass% or more; a total content of vinyl acetate and acetic acid in a liquid composition (β) to be taken out from the outlet (B) is 90 mass% or more and a content of water in the liquid composition (β) is 10 mass% or less. Accordingly, in a method for producing vinyl acetate, energy required for separating vinyl acetate, water, and acetic acid by distillation is reduced.

An elastomer resin composition according to the present disclosure contains at least one of thermoplastic elastomers (EX) to (EZ), and at least one of polypropylene-based polymers (PX) and (PY). (EX) It has a St unit-containing block, and a conjugated diene compound unit-containing block in which the total amount of 1,2- and 3,4-bonds is less than 40 mol%. (EY) It has a St unit-containing block, and a conjugated diene compound unit-containing block in which the total amount of 1,2- and 3,4-bonds is 40 mol% or more. (EZ) It has an αMSt unit-containing block, and a conjugated diene compound unit-containing block in which the total amount of 1,2- and 3,4-bonds is 40 mol% or more. (PX) It does not have a polar group and has a melt tension of 2.5×10<-2> N or larger. (PY) It has a polar group and has a melting point of 130°C or lower.
