According to some embodiments disclosed herein, a battery diagnosis apparatus includes an interface configured to obtain first battery measurement values from diagnosis target cells and a controller configured to select second battery measurement values satisfying an analysis condition from among the first battery measurement values, calculate battery deviation values based on a difference between a representative value of the second battery measurement values and each of the second battery measurement values, calculate an analysis indicator value indicating a change trend with respect to a measurement time of the battery deviation values, and diagnose states of the diagnosis target cells based on the analysis indicator values.
