Provided is a battery pack comprising: a plurality of battery modules, each including a plurality of battery cells; and a pack housing accommodating the plurality of battery modules. At least one of the plurality of battery modules includes: a cell stack in which the plurality of battery cells are stacked; a side plate that is disposed on one side of the cell stack and coupled to the pack housing; and an elastic member disposed between the cell stack and the side plate. The elastic member includes: a frame part supported by the side plate; and a plurality of elastic ribs that extend from the frame part in a direction inclined relative to the stacking direction of the plurality of battery cells, and elastically deform and apply an elastic force to the cell stack as the cell stack expands.

Embodiments provide a battery pack. The battery pack includes a pack housing including a base plate and side walls, first to third battery cell assemblies provided on the base plate and each including a plurality of battery cells arranged in a first direction, a heat blocking pad between the first and second battery cell assemblies, and a first partition wall between the second and third battery cell assemblies.

According to some embodiments, a battery management device includes an interface configured to acquire battery data of a battery and a controller configured to extract physical parameters of the battery based on the battery data, classify a state of the battery corresponding to the physical parameters using a first model trained by a supervised learning algorithm for a plurality of pieces of degradation experiment data for the battery, and calculate a probability that the state of the battery is an abnormal state using a second model fitted by a classification result of the first model.

A battery cell according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an electrode assembly including electrode leads, a cell case having a cell terrace on one side where the electrode leads are disposed and accommodating the electrode assembly, and a heat transfer prevention pad disposed on the cell terrace of the cell case. The battery cell according to an embodiment of the present disclosure has the effect of delaying thermal propagation to adjacent cells through a heat transfer prevention pad in the event of thermal runaway.

Disclosed is a battery module, which includes a cell assembly having a plurality of battery cells; a module case configured to accommodate the cell assembly and having a gas venting hole provided at one side to allow gas generated from the battery cell to be discharged to the outside; a module terminal electrically connected to the cell assembly and exposed to the other side of the module case; a fireproof cover member configured to cover a top end of the cell assembly to suppress upward discharge of the gas from the battery cell; and a block member configured to partition a space between the cell assembly and one side of the module case to guide the gas toward the gas venting hole.
