[Task] To provide a front body structure of a vehicle that can reduce the vertical displacement of top portions 4b of strut towers and damp vibrations in the torsional direction between the top portions 4b of the strut towers and a cowl member 6 without increasing the weight of the vehicle body.[Solution] A front body structure of a vehicle includes a dash panel 1 that separates a vehicle interior R from an engine room E, a pair of left and right front side frames 2 that extend from left and right end portions of the dash panel 1, a pair of left and right strut towers 4 that support the upper portions of dampers of a suspension device in the outer portions in the vehicle width direction of the front side frames 2, in which a first coupling member 30 that couples the cowl member 6 to the strut towers 4 is provided, the first coupling member has a reinforced layer portion made of fiber reinforced plastic in which fibers are impregnated with a synthetic resin material, and the fibers of the reinforced layer portion are oriented so that the fibers extending in a longitudinal direction are more than the fibers extending in directions other than the longitudinal direction. |

When a pressurizing cycle consists of a period of pressurizing stroke in which the volume of the pressurizing chamber is reduced to allow fuel to be pressurized and a period of suction stroke in which the volume of the pressurizing chamber is increased to allow fuel to be drawn into the pressurizing chamber, , a closing cycle of the on-off valve is controlled so that a ratio of the closing cycle to the pressurizing cycle becomes smaller in a second combustion mode where a partial compression-ignition combustion is performed than in a first combustion mode where SI combustion is performed. |

A coating material that contains a base resin having a larger volume expansion coefficient than the resin molded product 1 and a granular filler having a smaller volume expansion coefficient than the base resin and a number-average particle size of 2 µm or more to 12 µm or less is used as the undercoat material. |
