Base station antennas include a cylindrical RF lens and at least one radiating element. The cylindrical RF lenses are hybrid lenses that include both metamaterial focusing elements and dielectric material focusing elements. The RF lenses may comprise a plurality of concentric cylindrical laminae having conductive scattering elements formed thereon and thin dielectric slabs to enhance the performance of the sparsely spaced scattering elements to achieve well defined patterns with low sidelobes and low cross polar discrimination.

A cavity phase shifter comprises a first cavity, a first main phase shifter circuit, a first moveable phase shift component, and a first sliding linkage for the first moveable phase shift component mounted within the first cavity; and a second cavity, a second main phase shifter circuit, a second moveable phase shift component, and a second sliding linkage for the second moveable phase shift component mounted within the second cavity. The first and second cavities are arranged side by side in a horizontal direction, and first and second grooves for at least partially exposing the respective first and second sliding linkages are provided on the cavity phase shifter. The first and second grooves are arranged side by side in the horizontal direction, and a dimension of the second groove is different from a dimension of the first groove.

The present application is directed to an acoustic attenuation device adapted for use in a telecommunications cabinet. The device includes a housing, a volume matrix having a main body divided into a plurality of chambers, an aperture plate having a plurality of opening arrangements, each opening arrangement aligned with a respective chamber of the volume matrix, a pressure plate coupled to the housing with the volume matrix and aperture plate secured therebetween, and an acoustically transparent filter held against the pressure plate. The pressure plate and the housing are configured to apply pressure to volume matrix and aperture plate sandwiched therebetween to create a tight seal, and the opening arrangements in combination with a corresponding chamber create a plurality of attenuators configured to match one or more dominant frequencies of one or more cooling fans within the cabinet such that the resonant frequency emanating from each attenuator have substantial phase inversion of the dominant frequencies, thereby cancelling noise emanating from the telecommunications cabinet.

Multibeam base station antennas include an antenna array that includes a plurality of columns of radiating elements and a beamforming network having at least two rows and two columns of directional couplers, where adjacent pairs of directional couplers in each row are connected to each other by respective ones of a plurality of delay lines, where at least some of the delay lines have a wave shape having multiple peaks and valleys.

A cavity phase shifter comprises a metal housing that extends along a longitudinal axis, the metal housing having a first sidewall and a second sidewall that are connected by a first rear wall to define a first cavity having an open front and a metal cover that is positioned in front of the open front of the first cavity.

A radiating element for a base station antenna comprises a feed stalk printed circuit board and a dipole radiator printed circuit board mounted on the feed stalk printed circuit board. The feed stalk printed circuit board includes a first ground line that includes a first integrated parallel LC circuit, a second ground line that includes a second integrated parallel LC circuit, a first signal trace that extends through an opening in the dipole radiator printed circuit board, and a second signal trace.
