A control module for a reversing contactor includes a housing configured to mount to forward and reverse contactors. The control module is configured to receive command signals for the forward and reverse contactors and provide the command signals to an interlock circuit included within the housing of the control module. The interlock circuit is configured to use the forward and reverse commands as well as feedback signals corresponding to the current status of the contactors to prevent both the forward and reverse contactors from being closed in tandem. The control module is also configured to mount to contactors having different physical sizes. The housing may be configured as a telescoping housing, where one portion of the housing is fixed and a second portion of the housing slides with respect to the fixed portion of the housing to adjust the width of the control module. |

An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) is extended to support creation of device profiles using an intuitive graphical development environment. The environment comprises a device profile development interface that allows a user to select device profile views to be included in a device profile for an industrial device, and to submit edits to the underlying code for the selected device profile views. The system can then generate a new device profile from the modified device profile code. The device profile can be registered with the industrial IDE and used to view and edit device parameters of a corresponding industrial device. The device profile development environment also supports dynamic validation of profile view edits, rendering of graphical previews of the modified device profile view, and submission of both code-based and graphical profile view edits. |

The computing device identifies an anomaly for an industrial automation device of the industrial automation devices based on analyzing the complete event data associated with the industrial automation device. In response to identifying an anomaly, the computing device performs an action to mitigate damage from the anomaly. |

A motor drive monitors operation of a motor and adaptively track disturbances experienced by the motor. The motor drive receives a command signal and a cycle position signal. An estimated disturbance observed throughout a cycle of operation is stored in a look up table, and the motor drive uses the stored values as a feedforward value into a control module. The motor drive adaptively monitors operation of the motor and generates a new estimated disturbance value throughout each subsequent cycle of operation. The values of the estimated disturbance are updated within the look up table as a function of the new estimated disturbance values and of the previously stored values. The stored disturbance values adaptively track cyclic disturbances in the controlled machine or process and to reduce the effects of these cyclic disturbances on tracking error in the controlled machine or process. |
