A hair care accessory is provided for use in drying and/or styling hair. The hair care accessory can include an elongate frame having a longitudinal axis and an inner lumen extending there through along the longitudinal axis. The hair care accessory can also include a plurality of plates disposed on the elongate frame. The plurality of plates can include a first row of plates that can be spaced circumferentially around a first longitudinal portion of the elongate frame, and at least one second row of plates that can be spaced circumferentially around a second longitudinal portion of the elongate frame. Each plate in the first row of plates can define a first longitudinally extending outlet and each plate in the second row of plates can define a second longitudinally extending outlet. The second longitudinally extending outlet being circumferentially offset from the first longitudinally extending outlet.

An example of an agitator for a vacuum cleaner may include a body and at least one deformable flap extending from the body. The deformable flap may include at least one taper. The at least one taper causes a cleaning edge of the deformable flap to approach the body.

A wand includes a hinge configured to pivotally connect first and second wand segments in an extended configuration and a storage configuration. A first locking mechanism locks the wand in extended configuration. A second locking mechanism includes a rod, a sliding lever, a plunger, and a plunger cavity. The plunger is configured to be received in the plunger cavity to lock the wand in the storage configuration. When in the extended configuration, depressing a single actuator pivots the locking arm, causes the hook/pawl to be removed from the locking cavity, and unlocks the wand. When in the storage configuration, depressing the single actuator causes the rod to move in a first direction, causes the sliding rod to move a second direction, and urges the plunger out of the plunger cavity.

Cooking devices, cooking systems, and smoke assemblies for use therewith are provided. In one embodiment, a cooking system is provided and includes a housing and a smoke assembly. The housing can have a lower base portion and an upper lid portion that together define a hollow cooking chamber. The smoke assembly can be coupled to the upper lid portion, and can be in fluid communication with the hollow cooking chamber. The smoke assembly can generate smoke during cooking operations in order to impart smoke flavor onto a food product disposed within the hollow cooking chamber.

A method of preparing a brewed beverage using a beverage brewing apparatus includes providing a flavorant, identifying a process cycle including one or more infusion cycles for preparing the brewed beverage, performing said one or more infusion cycles, wherein said performing of said one or more infusion cycles includes providing fluid to said flavorant, and varying a temperature of said fluid provided to said flavorant during a single infusion cycle of said one or more infusion cycles, or between a plurality of infusion cycles of said one or more infusion cycles.

A cooking system comprises a housing, a lid, a user interface (120), and a movable lid lock. The cooking system (20) is operable in a conductive cooking mode when the lid (24) is in a locked condition, and in a convective cooking mode when the lid (24) is in an unlocked condition. The user interface (120) includes a first portion associated with the conductive cooking mode, and a second portion associated with the convective cooking mode. A respective portion of the user interface (120) is energized, for selection by a user, responsive to an indication of the position of the lid lock.

A twist off container and coupling assembly of a micro puree machine includes a container and a coupling on the micro puree machine. An interior surface of the coupling has at least one ramped slot that is angled relative to a lower annular surface of the coupling. The container has at least one protrusion correspondingly angled relative to an upper annular surface of the container. The protrusion is configured to engage the slot when the container is rotated in a clockwise direction and to disengage from the slot when the container is rotated in a counter-clockwise direction. When the container is rotated, the container moves both axially and rotationally relative to the coupling.

A hand-held surface cleaning device (100) consistent with the present disclosure includes a body (102), a handle portion (104), a nozzle (114) with a dirty air inlet (120), a motor section (106), a dust cup (110) coupled to the body (102) and configured to transition between closed and release orientations, a screen to prevent ingress of dirt and debris into the motor section (106), a filter (124), and a dust release (112), the dust cup (110) including an agitator member arranged to contact the screen to displace debris as the dust cup (110) transitions from the closed orientation to the release orientation.

A replacement head for a vacuum device includes a plastic tray, a filter and a pad. The plastic tray includes a dust chamber that has a sealing surface and at least one opening. The opening is provided to allow air, dust and debris to be drawn into the dust chamber during use. The sealing surface defines a sealing surface plane and the opening defines an opening place. The relative angle between the sealing surface plane and the opening plane is preferably between about -20 degrees and +150 degrees. The pad is attached to the lower side of the plastic tray and is in contact with the floor during cleaning. The filter is connected to the plastic tray such that the filter substantially covers a top opening in the dust chamber.

The guard is permissive of convective airflow between said hollow interior and said heating element, and is generally impermeable to projectile matter generated during a cooking operation.
