A computer-based system and method to improve the multimodal fusion output at decision level is disclosed. The method proposes computation of a confidence weighted measure for the individual score values obtained for each modality and fuse these new updated scores to get the final decision. These confidence weights are the performance parameters (measured in terms of F-measure) during the offline training step. The process significantly increases the accuracy of the multimodal system.

Method and system for narrow passage path sampling based on levy flight is disclosed. The disclosed technique is an improvisation of Random Walk to Surface (RWS), wherein, instead of performing a random walk, the disclosed technique utilizes levy flight mechanism to identify samples in narrow passages (on the obstacle boundaries). The disclosed technique for identification of narrow passages sampling points in the narrow passage is based on several techniques that include random uniform sampling technique, a levy flight function (step size) and a collision detection technique. Moreover, in addition to identification of narrow passages sampling points, the disclosed technique also performs an additional check to ensure that the identified narrow passages sampling points are present in the narrow passage based on a levy flight bridge sampler technique.

Phishing attacks cause financial frauds and credential thefts. The conventional blacklist, whitelist and Machine Learning (ML) based methods fail to provide an accurate detection of phishing attacks. The present disclosure provides a layered approach wherein a URL domain name is compared with blacklist domains and whitelist domains. Further, the URL undergoes Internet Protocol (IP) address checking followed by context checking. A clicked context is verified based on the number of search results from a popular search engine. Otherwise, the typed context is checked for non-ASCII characters in the domain name. Further, the URL is checked for any brand name. Further, the domain is checked for any misspelling. Further, the URL is examined using a Machine Learning (ML) model. Finally, the URL is classified as phishing if a number hits in a popular search engine is less. Here a phishing alert is generated in each layer based on the corresponding decision.

This disclosure relates generally to authenticating humans based on behavioral pattern. The method and system proposed provides a continuous/seamless monitoring platform for authenticating humans by continuously monitoring routine activities of subjects (Activities of Daily Living (ADL)) in a smart environment using plurality of passive, unobtrusive, binary, unobtrusive non-intrusive sensors embedded in living infrastructure. The proposed method and system for authenticating humans based on behavioral pattern is provided. The daily routine activities of humans/subjects, housed in a smart environment is continuous monitored by plurality of non-intrusive sensors embedded in living infrastructure. Further the collected sensor data is processed in several stages, which includes pre-processing of sensor data, behavioral pattern prediction, error detection based on predicted behavioral pattern and so on for authenticating humans based on behavioral pattern.

A system and method for offloading scalable robotic tasks in a mobile robotics framework. The system comprises a cluster of mobile robots and they are connected with a back-end cluster infrastructure. It receives scalable robotic tasks at a mobile robot of the cluster. The scalable robotics tasks include building a map of an unknown environment by using the mobile robot, navigating the environment using the map and localizing the mobile robot on the map. Therefore, the system estimate the map of an unknown environment and at the same time it localizes the mobile robot on the map. Further, the system analyzes the scalable robotics tasks based on computation, communication load and energy usage of each scalable robotic task. And finally the system priorities the scalable robotic tasks to minimize the execution time of the tasks and partitioning the SLAM with computation offloading in edge network and mobile cloud server setup.

Impurity material detection in industrial processing is important to ensure quality of output, and also to save industrial machines from wear and tear caused by such impurity materials. State of the art systems in this domain rely on background subtraction related approaches, which fail to identify the impurity materials correctly. The disclosure herein generally relates to image processing, and, more particularly, to a method and system for impurity detection using multi-modal image processing. This system uses a combination of polarization data, and at least one of a depth data and an RGB image data to perform the impurity material detection. The system uses a graph fusion based approach while processing the captured images to detect presence of the impurity material, and accordingly alert the user.

A system for interaction, navigation and control of an autonomous robot. The system comprises of two electronic devices, which are compatible with all operating systems and also compatible with magnetic trigger of a virtual reality device. When a virtual reality application run, the application provides two scenes at the display. The interaction, navigation and control over the autonomous robot is based on movement triggered from the virtual reality device. On moving the head upwards and downwards the robot will move forward and backward respectively. The left and right movement of the platform would result in the brain infrastructure movement of the robot. The robot can interact with people in real time and it can also identify if the robot had already interacted with the person. The robot can identify person on gender, age, voice and face recognition basis and it can also make calls, texts and clicking selfies etc.

Accurate estimation of the trajectory of a vehicle by selecting optimal number of GPS data points and a shortest path technique applied for estimation is important and crucial. Method and system for estimating a trajectory from GPS data points is described. The method disclosed utilizes a plurality of GPS data points of a vehicle, an existing road map and a set of equal time intervals obtained by dividing an elapsed time during movement of the vehicle. Each GPS data point is associated to a time interval and a set of candidate points are mapped to each GPS data point correspondingly. A set of possible paths are determined between the set of candidate points in each time interval to estimate the trajectory of the vehicle using one of a shortest path technique and an edit distance technique.
