The invention relates to a roof where, in the mounted state and closed state of the window, the exterior side of the frame bottom member is located in the interval between 0 mm and 30 mm above the exterior side of the pane measured in a direction perpendicularly to the exterior side of the pane, and to a kit including a bottom flashing member and a roof window comprising, where the highest point on the bottom flashing member is located in the above interval. In an embodiment a covering member is provided at a lower edge of the pane, said covering member being arranged at an angle to the exterior side of the roofing so that in the mounted state and closed state of the window it has a lower inclination than the exterior side of the roofing and extends over the exterior side of the bottom frame member.

Disclosed is a window assembly (1) for being mounted in a roof (3) or a celling of a building. The window assembly (1) comprises a window (5) including a window frame (2) arranged to be fixed to the roof (3) or the celling of the building. The window frame (2) is arranged to suspend a window pane (4), wherein the window pane (4) comprises an outside surface (6) arranged to face away from the building and an inside surface (7) arranged to face the internal of the building. The window assembly (1) further comprises an at least partly transparent window covering device (8) arranged to cover the outside surface, wherein the window covering device (8) comprises an outside surface (9) arranged to face away from the window (5) and an inside surface (10) arranged to face towards the window (5). The window assembly (1) is characterized in that the window assembly (1) comprises at least one at least partly transparent light emitting panel (11) arranged between the outside surface (6) of the window pane (4) and the inside surface (10) of the window covering device (8).

The present invention relates to an electrical window actuator (15) for operating windows (21), particularly to an electric push-pull chain actuator and the internal gear train of such an actuator. The push-pull chain actuator comprises an electric motor (1) and a gear train arranged to be driven by the electric motor and to push and pull a thrust chain (2). The gear train comprises a driving gear (3) a driven double gear comprising an input gear (5) and an output gear (6). The input gear (5) comprises a centre hole having an internal non-circular engagement structure (9) arranged at the inside circumference. The output gear (6) comprises an external non-circular engagement structure (10) arranged coaxially with the input and output gears and engaging with the internal engagement structure (9) to rotatably lock the input gear to the output gear.

The window or door includes a locking system with a locking rod (5) arranged in a window sash or door leaf and being displaceable by rotation of an operating handle whereby locking pawls move between locked and unlocked positions. The locking system includes at least one spring element (9) arranged to be loaded in the unlocked position. The spring element abuts a displaceable bracket (14) connected to a slideable rod (24) arranged in parallel to the locking rod and at a distance from the locking rod in a transverse direction of the locking rod. The slideable rod is connected to the locking rod by means of a connecting piece (25) extending in said transverse direction so that the locking rod with locking pawls and operating handle is arranged inside a sealing plane of the window sash, and the displaceable bracket with associated spring is arranged outside said sealing plane.
