Methods and systems for detecting one or more infrared (IR) security marks embedded in a document include receiving a document including one or more regions of interest (ROIs), wherein the ROIs correspond to pre-defined locations in the document. Thereafter, the ROIs are processed to generate a plurality of arrays of counters corresponding to each ROI. Once generated, the plurality of arrays of counters are analyzed to identify a plurality of transition points corresponding to each ROI including the IR security mark. Thereafter, the transition points are used to calculated the size of the one or more IR security marks. Then, the calculated size is compared with the one or more IR security marks with a pre-defined size and, based on the comparison, the one or more IR security mark embedded in the document are detected for further analysis.

The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for extracting an infrared (IR) security mark from a document. The method includes receiving a document including the IR security mark. A portion of the document including the IR security mark is extracted and a color information is obtained, wherein the color information includes at least one of a foreground color information and an adjacent foreground color information. One or more portions of the extracted portion are analyzed based on the foreground color information, to generate a foreground image including one or more foreground portions. One or more portions adjacent to the one or more foreground portions in the extracted portion are analyzed based on the adjacent foreground color information, to generate an adjacent foreground image. The foreground image and the adjacent foreground image are processed to extract the IR security mark.

The present disclosure provides techniques for processing a three-dimensional (3D) object file in a privacy-preserving manner. An example method includes obtaining an object file that comprises a specification of a 3D printable object, encrypting the object file using a public key to generate an encrypted object file, and sending, to a remote computing system, the encrypted object file and a request to process the encrypted object file to identify a characteristic of the 3D printable object. The method also includes receiving an encrypted result file from the remote computing system, wherein the encrypted result file comprises an encrypted Minkowski sum of the encrypted object file and an encrypted comparison file. The method also includes decrypting the encrypted result file using a private key corresponding with the public key to generate an unencrypted result file and processing the unencrypted result file to determine the characteristic of the 3D printable object.

A system and method for generating a secure digital copy of content associated with a non-fungible token (NFT). The system may include, be part of, or be in communication with a print device. The system will receive, from a requesting entity, a print request to print digital content that is associated with an NFT. The system will then access a user profile of the requesting entity to identify a digital wallet associated with the requesting entity. The system will determine whether the digital wallet indicates that the requesting entity owns the NFT. In response to determining that the digital wallet indicates that the requesting entity owns the NFT, the system will generate a print job that comprises a set of instructions to print the digital content, optionally with a verification code. The system may then cause the print device to print the digital content.

Methods and systems for generating a secure copy of content associated with a non-fungible token (NFT) are disclosed. The system will receive a print request to print digital content that is associated with an NFT, access a blockchain to identify a current owner of the NFT, and generate a print job that with instructions to print the NFT content. If and only if the current owner of the NFT is the requesting entity, the system will print a unique authentication code with the digital content. The system will cause a print engine to print the digital content on a substrate or as a 3D object. In some embodiments, the system may be included in a print device that includes the print engine. Other aspects include a system that verifies whether a printed copy of content is an authorized copy, using the unique authentication code and the NFT described above.
