The present invention relates to a product which is either a compound selected from the group consisting of, at least a triterpene, and a mixture of at least a triterpene with hydroxytyrosol, or alternatively, an extract comprising at least a triterpene, or a mixture of at least a triterpene with hydroxytyrosol, for use in a method for enhancing conversion rate in poultry, where the method comprises administering the product in ovo between the days 7 to 21 of incubation.
