Abstract

The subject of the invention is a herbal and mineral composition for the treatment of inflammation, with analgesic, anti-oedema, astringent, anticoagulant and anti-clotting properties, for external application to the patient's skin, containing aluminium salts, calendula extract and arnica extract, wherein arnica contains sesquiterpene lactones and the flavonoid fraction of arnica, additionally containing substances that delay clot formation and/or substances that dissolve existing clots, selected from substances with anti-aggregating, anticoagulant, fibrinolytic, thrombolytic and substances that reduce the number of coagulation factors. The subject of the invention is also the use of the described composition for treating inflammation, pain and swelling.
