Abstract
An insulator for a circuit breaker is disclosed. The insulator comprises a base, an intermediate block, and a top block arranged in a stepped configuration. The base includes a pair of first holes for receiving first fasteners, and a pair of pins extending vertically to engage a first busbar and a second busbar, thereby preventing misalignment. The intermediate block includes second holes for receiving second fasteners and tabs extending laterally to prevent angular displacement of the busbars. The top block comprises third holes to secure a third busbar via third fasteners. The pins extend beyond the insulator's height to guide proper alignment. The insulator enables front access installation and maintenance of the circuit breaker.
