A maintenance tool 200 and a method of accessing power cables in a power distribution assembly 100 is disclosed. A handle 202 configured for single-handed ergonomic operation and including an electrically insulated exterior surface. A bracket 204 mechanically coupled to the handle. The bracket having a specialized cutout configured to support and stabilize one or more power cables 102 while reducing mechanical stress on a circuit breaker terminal 302 of a circuit breaker of the power distribution assembly 100. A locking mechanism 204 integrated within the maintenance tool and operable through the handle 202 to engage or disengage the one or more power cables 102 from the circuit breaker terminal 302. The bracket positions the one or more power cables in a stable orientation, and the locking mechanism, in coordination with the bracket, operates to selectively secure or release the one or more power cables from the circuit breaker terminal.

The present application discloses a device, method, apparatus and medium for short-circuit detection of a switching device and an uninterruptible power supply, for performing a short-circuit detection of a switching device connected between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a battery within the uninterruptible power supply, so as to avoid failures in the uninterruptible power supply due to short-circuit of the switching device and to improve the reliability of the uninterruptible power supply. The uninterruptible power supply includes: a rectifying module connected between mains electricity and a busbar and comprising a first rectifying sub-module and a second rectifying sub-module, a battery, and a charge-discharge module connected between the battery and the busbar and comprising at least: a first switching device connected between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, and a second switching device connected between the negative electrode of the battery and a negative electrode of the busbar; the positive electrode of the battery is connected with respective alternating-current ports of the first rectifying sub-module via relays, the negative electrode of the battery is connected with respective alternating-current ports of the second rectifying sub-module via relays; and a capacitor is connected between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery.

A cooling system can include an evaporator for transferring heat from a heat source to a cooling fluid, a condenser for rejecting heat from the cooling fluid, a fan for inducing air flow through the condenser, a pump for pumping the cooling fluid, a controller, and a damper for selectively resisting air flow through the condenser. The controller can operate the cooling system in a pumped cooling mode when a temperature is below a threshold and reduce a speed of the fan when the temperature is below another, lower threshold. The damper can thermo-mechanically increase air flow resistance through the condenser.
