Abstract
A device includes a radiofrequency integrated circuit (RFIC) having a radiofrequency (RF) input terminal and an RF output terminal and also includes a field plate electrode having a first end that is electrically-coupled to the RF output terminal and a second end that is suspended above the RFIC. The second end of the field plate electrode is configured to float at an electric potential that is determined by an electric potential of the RF output terminal.
