Abstract
A connector retention device can include a frame having a rectangular inner opening for fitting around a body of a connector, a wedge extending forwardly from a top side of the frame, a retention clip extending forwardly from a bottom side of the frame, and a rear wall extending inwardly from the frame, which can cooperate with the retention clip to position the frame about the connector. The retention clip can retain the frame about the connector. The retention clip can include a flange for engaging a forward-facing shoulder of the connector, a socket, or a housing that houses the socket. The flange can cooperate with the rear wall to hold the frame in position about the connector.
