Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrode module 100 for stimulation of the central and/or peripheral nervous system and/or recording of one or more signals of the central and/or peripheral nervous system. The electrode module comprises an electrode module per-product 120, in particular a stimulator lead, including a substrate 110 and at least one electrode 102 disposed on a surface of the substrate 110, a porous graphene layer 114 coated on the at least one electrode 102, and an adhesion layer 105 disposed between the at least one electrode 102 and the porous graphene layer 114 for enhancing the binding of the porous graphene layer 114 to the at least one electrode 102. Further, the present invention provides for a method 200 for preparing the electrode module.
