Abstract

The present invention relates a vibration isolation system (100) for isolating vibrations from transmitting to a cabinet (10). The system (100) comprises a bottom frame (18) configured to be mounted on a rigid surface (24), said bottom frame (18) having a bottom surface (20) and side surfaces (22) extending vertically therefrom. A top frame (12) is configured to support the cabinet (10). The top frame (12) is movably mounted on the bottom frame (18). A plurality of primary resilient members (30) is positioned between ledges (16) of the top frame (12) and the side surfaces (22) of the bottom frame (18). A plurality of secondary resilient members (32) are positioned between an operating surface of a mounting base (15) of said top frame (12) and said bottom surface (20) of said bottom frame (18).
