Abstract

The invention relates to a method, performed by a controller (112) of a vehicle (104), comprising: engaging in autonomous driving (120) of the vehicle (104), including controlling a steering of the vehicle (104); while engaged in the autonomous driving (120) of the vehicle (104), detecting, through at least one user input device (106), an input (108) from a user (102); detecting, with at least one sensor (119), a position (116) associated with the user (102); determining that the input (108) from the user (102) and the position (116) associated with the user (102) satisfies a condition (118); and in response to the input (108) and the position (116) associated with the user (102) satisfying the condition (118), disengaging the autonomous driving (120) of the vehicle (104).
