Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a front-rear adjustment mechanism for adjusting a headrest cover of a vehicle seat in the front-rear direction, wherein the front-rear adjustment mechanism is provided not only with a first connection point configured for manual front-rear adjustment function but also simultaneously with a second connection point configured for electric front-rear adjustment function, wherein the first connection point is used to connect a locking mechanism that provides locking only for rearward adjustment during manual front-rear adjustment, and the second connection point is used to connect a front-rear adjustment drive device. The present disclosure also relates to a manually front-rear adjustable headrest assembly, an electrically front-rear adjustable headrest assembly, and a vehicle seat. The modularly designed front-rear adjustment mechanism according to the present disclosure enables a multifunctional manual/electric adjustment platform.
