Abstract
A method for normalizing the finishing of natural hides, which provides for supplying at least one at least partially finished hide (100) with at least one finishing layer (101) made of polymeric material applied to at least one face thereof, subjecting the finishing layer (101) to heating to bring it to a temperature substantially comprised between the glass transition temperature and the melting point of the polymeric material, subjecting the finishing layer (101) to an action of reorganization of its polymeric chains in order to orient them along at least one preferred direction, and subjecting the finishing layer (101) to cooling.
