A method for normalizing the finishing of natural hides, which provides for supplying at least one at least partially finished hide (100) with at least one finishing layer (101) made of polymeric material applied to at least one face thereof, subjecting the finishing layer (101) to heating to bring it to a temperature substantially comprised between the glass transition temperature and the melting point of the polymeric material, subjecting the finishing layer (101) to an action of reorganization of its polymeric chains in order to orient them along at least one preferred direction, and subjecting the finishing layer (101) to cooling.

A multilayer article (1) for flooring and/or cladding, comprising:- a substantially slab-like cladding layer (2) with a polygonal shape in plan view, provided with two mutually opposite main faces (2a, 2b), of which a first face (2a) is designed to remain visible in use, and a second face (2b),- a substantially slab-like backing layer (5), which is provided with two mutually opposite main faces (5a, 5b), of which a first face (5a) is associated with the second face (2b) of the cladding layer (2) and a second face (5b) is designed to be associated, in use, with a surface to be covered, and- shape mating means (6) associated with at least one portion of the perimeter of the backing layer (5) for connection in use to at least one additional article (1) arranged adjacent thereto;the mating means (6) comprise a substantially undulated profile (7) associated with at least one portion of the perimeter of the backing layer (5) along at least one corresponding side (3, 4) of the cladding layer (2), the undulated profile (7) extending along a longitudinal axis (L) to define a plurality of crests (8) and a plurality of troughs (9) alternating, and the longitudinal axis (L) being arranged, in plan view, within the outline of the cladding layer (2) and substantially parallel to the corresponding side (3, 4).

A transmission device (1) for modular cylinders (100) configured for interposition between a coded module (101), constituted by a stator (102) and by a rotor (103) which can rotate, affected by encoding pins (104) which lead to a channel (105) of the rotor (103) for accommodating a key (106), and a mechanical mating module (107) for mating with elements for moving bolts, latches, catches and equivalent components, which is provided with a rotatable actuation cam (107a) which rotates with respect to the stator (102) of the module (101); the device (1) further comprises a fixed body (2), which is integral with the rotor (103), is provided with a longitudinal channel (105) within which a shank (104) can slide which has a first end (104a) facing the channel (105) and a second end (104b) facing and close to the module (107); the channel (105) is misaligned with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotor (103) and of the mechanical mating module (107).

Aspects of the disclosure relate to thermoplastic compositions including: (a) from about 80 wt% to about 97 wt% of a polycarbonate homopolymer having a molecular weight of at least 31,500 as determined by gel permeation chromatography relative to linear bisphenol A polycarbonate standards; (b) from about 1 wt% to about 15 wt% of a first polycarbonate-siloxane copolymer having a siloxane content of from 35 wt% to 45 wt%; and (c) from about 0.2 wt% to about 2 wt% of a mold release component including at least two distinct mold release agents. The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt%, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition. The composition has good chemical resistance properties.

A rotating support (14) is rotatable with respect to a fixed support (12) about an axis of rotation (Z) under the control of actuation means (16) and supports coaxially a disk (18) of solid lubricating material extending between a first axial end surface (18a) facing the rotating support (14) and an opposite second axial end surface (18b) arranged at a level with respect to the rotating support (14). A yarn (Y) that is slidably inserted between the rotating support (14) and the first axial end surface (18a) in sliding engagement with the latter progressively erodes the first axial end surface (18a) by friction, causing the level of the second axial end surface (18b) to progressively drop. Sensor means (20) detect when the level of the second axial end surface (18b) has dropped below a predetermined threshold and generate a corresponding alarm signal.

A service air conditioning system for vehicles provided with a living unit (101), of the type operable with the engine switched off and which comprises at least four service components, constituted by a compressor (11), a condenser (12), a throttle element (13), and an evaporator (14), arranged along a closed circuit for the execution of a refrigeration cycle. The four service components are divided between a first functional unit (16), comprising at least the evaporator (14), and a second functional unit (17), distinct from the first functional unit (16) and comprising at least the compressor (11) and the condenser (12); the first functional unit (16) is accommodatable in the living unit (101) of the vehicle, while the second is accommodatable in an engine compartment (102) of the vehicle; the service system (10) comprises a sterilizer (18) configured to sterilize the air treated by the evaporator (14).

A poultry farming system (1, 101), particularly for egg-laying hen farms, which comprises a supporting frame (2, 102) that defines three levels: a lower level (3c, 103c), an intermediate level (3b, 103b) and an upper level (3a, 103a); at least one nest (4, 104) is accommodated on a nest level (3d, 103d) chosen from the upper level (3a, 103a) and the intermediate level (3b, 103b); at least one access area (7, 107) is at least partially arranged on the nest level (3d, 103d); a collection device (9, 109) being provided, which comprises an egg collection belt (9a, 109a); at least one droppings belt (10, 110) being located downwardly in the nest level (3d, 103d).

A hinge (1) for head-mountable device, which comprises a male hinge part (2) and a female hinge part (3) which are adapted to be coupled to each other, wherein the coupling between the male hinge part (2) and the female hinge part (3) is obtained by way of coupling means (6, 7), which are arranged at the axis of rotation of the hinge, the coupling means (6, 7) being implemented by control and command means (7) which are adapted to rotate around the axis of the hinge, sensor means (8) being integrated in the hinge, for the purpose of detecting a rotation of said control and command means (7), in order to convert such rotation to an electrical signal adapted to be sent to an electronic unit of the head-mountable devices.

An apparatus (1) for degassing molten plastic material, which comprises:- a treatment chamber (2) provided with at least one entry port (3) associable with supply means (4) for a flow of molten plastic material containing a gaseous component, at least one exit port (5) for the material and at least one suction opening (6) for the at least partial suction of the gaseous component which is in fluid communication with means for applying a controlled pressure, the molten plastic material being in transit through the treatment chamber (2) from the at least one entry port (3) toward the at least one exit port (5) along a first transit direction (D1) and the at least one suction opening (6) being interposed between the ports along the first transit direction (D1), and- extraction means (7) for the molten plastic material which are associated downstream of the at least one exit port (5) for removing the material along a second transit direction (D2), and which comprise a substantially cylindrical jacket (8) extending along the second transit direction (D2) and provided with at least one entry opening (9) which is associated in communication with the at least one exit port (5) and at least one exit opening (10), a transfer screw (11) for the molten plastic material, which is supported in rotation about its own longitudinal axis inside the jacket (8) between the entry opening (9) and the exit opening (10), and rotational actuation means (12) for the screw, an annular channel (13) being defined between the outer surface of the transfer screw (11) and the inner wall of the jacket (8) for the passage of the molten plastic material from the entry opening (9) towards the exit opening (10) along the second transit direction (D2); anddetection means (14) for a measured value (P_MES) referring to the pressure of the molten plastic material inside the annular channel (13), which are functionally associated in input with electronic management and control means adapted to compare the measured value (P_MES) with a reference value (P_REF).
