A thermoplastic composition includes: (a) from about 10 wt% to about 90 wt% of a polycarbonate component including a polycarbonate homopolymer; (b) from about 5 wt% to about 20 wt% of a poly (carbonate-siloxane) copolymer having a siloxane content of from 10 wt% to 45 wt%; (c) from about 5 wt% to about 25 wt% of a glass fiber; and (d) at least one phosphorous-based flame retardant. The at least one phosphorous based flame retardant provides a total phosphorous content of from 0.22 wt% to 0.37 wt% to the composition. The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt%, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition. In some aspects the compositions have good UL94 flame retardant and high heat (e.g., ball pressure test) performance.

A fitting (1) for corrugated pipes, which comprises a pair of half-sleeves (2, 3) which are adapted to be coupled around at least one end of a corrugated pipe (4), for coupling two portions of corrugated pipe (4) or for coupling the end of a corrugated pipe (4) to an additional fitting (12, 13), the half-sleeves (2, 3) being each provided with a pair of flanges (9) which are adapted to mate and to be clamped together by virtue of clamping means (20, 21), in order to clamp the half-sleeves (2, 3) around the respective ends of the two portions of corrugated pipe (4) or around one end of the corrugated pipe (4) and around the additional fitting (12, 13).

The invention pertains to a surgical tool control apparatus (100) comprising: a housing (1); a control assembly (2) comprising a first roller module (22a) and a second roller module (22b) connected to the housing (1) and movable relative to each other so that a first surgical tool (Ta) is gripped between the first roller module (22a) and the second roller module (22b); and a first clamping portion (6a) configured to clamp the first surgical tool (Ta) in a state in which the first surgical tool (Ta) is not gripped by the first roller module (22a) and the second roller module (22b).

Thermoplastic compositions include: a) from about 10 wt% to about 97 wt% of a first thermoplastic polymer component comprising polyetherimide (PEI), polyaryletherketone (PAEK), or a combination thereof; b) from about 0.1 wt% to about 10 wt% of a second chemically reactive polyetherimide (r-PEI) component that is different from the first polyetherimide component; and c) from about 2 wt% to about 10 wt% of a reactive polyolefin compatibilizer component. The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt%, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition. In certain aspects a molded sample of the composition has no delamination or plate-out as evaluated according to a visual observation.

An absorber (20) for a chiller (90) for motor vehicles (100), comprising a heat exchange chamber (31). The heat exchange chamber is configured to provide an absorption of vapor (18) by a weak solution (14) in the liquid state, by way of a heat transfer/cooling fluid (12). The heat exchange chamber (31) comprises a plurality of plates (60) which is configured to provide a counterflow heat exchange between at least one hot current and at least one cooling current. Each hot current is formed by the vapor (18) and by the weak solution (14). Each cooling current is formed by the heat transfer/cooling fluid (12).

The second end of such at least one component (10) can be stably anchored to a safety harness (11) worn by a respective operator (D).

This invention pertains to mutant Cas9 nucleic acids and proteins for use in CRISPR/Cas endonuclease systems, and their methods of use. In particular, the invention pertains to an isolated mutant Cas9 protein, wherein the isolated mutant Cas9 protein is active in a CRISPR/Cas endonuclease system, wherein the CRISPR/Cas endonuclease system displays reduced off-target editing activity and maintained on-target editing activity relative to a wild-type CRISPR/Cas endonuclease system. The invention also includes isolated nucleic acids encoding mutant Cas9 proteins, ribonucleoprotein complexes and CRSPR/Cas endonuclease systems having mutant Cas9 proteins that display reduced off-target editing activity and maintained on-target editing activity relative to a wild-type CRISPR/Cas endonuclease system.

Thermoplastic compositions include: a. from about 10 wt% to about 85 wt% of a polycarbonate component; b. from about 1 wt% to about 50 wt% of a polyester component; and c. from about 5 wt% to about 40 wt% of a polycarbonate-siloxane copolymer having a siloxane content of from 25 wt% to 60 wt%. The polycarbonate component in a. is different from the polycarbonate-siloxane copolymer in c. The composition comprises less than 1.0 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile encapsulated polytetrafluoroethylene (TSAN). The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt%, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition.

A cardboard box for home deliveries, which comprises a sheet of cardboard (S) which is die-cut and folded to form a base (12), two lateral walls (14, 16), a front wall (18), a back wall (20) and a lid (22) having a rear edge joined to an upper edge of the back wall (20).
