The present invention relates to a method (1000-2000) of controlling an electric energy generation plant (1). The plant comprises a unit for generating electric energy from a renewable energy source (2), an electrolyzer (51) for the generation of hydrogen, a battery (8) connected to the electrolyzer (51), at least one converter (3,4) adapted to supply an available power generated by the electric energy generation unit (2) to at least one of a load and the electrolyzer (51), a control system (6) for controlling the plant (1), and input means (7). The input means are adapted to acquire at least one of input information relating to the operation of the plant (1), meteorological information of a region in which the plant (1) is located and information relating to the operation of further plants located in the vicinity of the plant (1).The method comprises that the control system performs the step of: monitoring (1002) the available power, generated by the renewable energy source (2), andwhen the available power falls below a threshold (1011), the method comprises that the control system performs the step of:estimating (1014-1017) a recovery time interval at the end of which the available power will exceed the threshold,determining (1014-1017) whether the battery is able to supply the electrolyzer (51) for said recovery time interval, and in the affirmative case, supplying (1012) the electrolyzer (51) by means of the battery (8).In particular, the step of estimating a recovery time interval comprises for estimating the recovery time interval as a function of the at least one piece of input information, wherein the input information comprises at least one among a piece of information relating to the operation of the plant (1), a piece of meteorological information of a region in which the plant (1) is located and a piece of information relating to the operation of further plants located within a predetermined monitoring radius centred on the plant (1). |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to a fluid meter (1) provided with a hollow box-shaped body (10), which delimits a measuring compartment (11), an inlet duct (14) and an outlet duct (15), which allow a flow of fluid into and out of the measuring compartment (11), respectively. A separator assembly (2; 7) is included in the measuring compartment. The separator assembly (2; 7) is adapted to define an inlet region (211; 111), adapted to receive the flow of fluid entering the measuring compartment (11) through the inlet duct (14), and an outlet region (212; 112), adapted to receive the flow of fluid exiting the measuring compartment (11) through the outlet duct (15). Furthermore, the separator assembly (2; 7) comprises at least one opening (24; 71) adapted to allow a flow of fluid between the inlet region (211; 111) and the outlet region (212; 112). Measuring means (3; 5) are arranged within the inlet region (211; 111) in order to provide an indication of a quantity of fluid passing through the fluid meter. The measuring means comprise at least one measuring duct (3) coupled to said at least one opening (242; 71) of the separator assembly (2; 7).Advantageously, the fluid meter comprises a fluid-dynamic element (4; 4A) arranged in the outlet region (212; 112). The fluid-dynamic element (4; 4A) comprising an inlet opening (42), coupled to the opening (24; 71) of the separator assembly (2; 7), and a free outlet opening (43). The surface of the outlet opening (43) has a substantially oval shape and is larger than the surface of the inlet opening (42), which has a substantially circular shape. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to a system for measuring a distance of an object (01-03). The system includes a single camera (2) and a processing device (3) connected to the camera (2).The camera (2) captures an image that is received by the processing device (3). The processing device (3) runs an image recognition algorithm that, for each object recognised in the acquired image identifies a type to which the object belongs, and defines a bounding box that encloses the object.In addition, the processing device (3) determines a reference dimension of the bounding box. In particular, the portable device corrects the reference dimension of the bounding box of the recognised object by applying a correction criterion selected according to the value of at least one pre-stored parameter associated with the type of the recognised object and at least one feature of the bounding box of the recognised object. Finally, the processing device (3) calculates the distance to the object according to the reference dimension thus corrected and at least one comparison dimension stored in the system. |
