Industrial hazard alert and visualized audit includes the receipt of sensor data from different sensors positioned in a geographic zone of interest at an industrial site, the computation of a position of one or more objects in the geographic zone of interest and the determination whether or not a hazardous condition has arisen based upon a proximity of a worker and the computed position. In response to the hazardous condition, an alert is generated in connection with the worker, an identity of the hazardous condition is stored along with the sensor data and the computed position within an audit record in an audit data store. Further, a graphical visualization is generated of the hazardous condition from the computed position and at least a portion of the sensor data. Finally, the graphical visualization is stored in the audit record for retrieval in visualizing the hazardous condition.

The dynamic demarcation of danger zones in a factory floor includes remote sensing an arrangement of objects on the factory floor, such as a proximity of one object to another object on the factory floor, or a proximity of an object on the factory floor to a location at which a human is proximate. Dynamic demarcation also includes determining a risk factor for the arrangement. Dynamic demarcation additionally includes comparing the risk factor to a threshold value. Finally, dynamic demarcation includes responding to the risk factor exceeding the threshold value by defining a boundary.

Collision regulation of non-rigid objects conveyed for processing in a machine includes a selection of a collision model for a specified object type of a non-rigid object. Thereafter, an arrangement of objects of the specified object type is sensed on a conveyance for a machine adapted to process the objects. The collision model is then queried for a collision state of the objects prior to conveyance into the machine and, in response to the querying, a collision metric is received from the collision model. Finally, the collision metric is matched to a regulated set of machine configuration parameters and so that the regulated set is applied to the machine.

Management system (10) for the road navigation of a plurality of vehicles (12) adapted to transport dangerous goods. The management system (10) is configured to receive input data, coming from the vehicles (12) and indicative of respective geographical positions of the vehicles (12), calculate respective distances between the vehicles (12) along a respective road section starting from the geographical positions of the vehicles (12), and generate output data towards the vehicles (12), indicative of respective alert levels for the driving of the vehicles (12). The management system (10) comprises a threshold verification module (36) configured to receive the distances between the vehicles (12) and determine the alert levels based on the distances between the vehicles (12), by comparing the distances with one or more thresholds that depend on one or more of the following threshold factors: type of road section traveled by the vehicles (12); type of goods; intensity of the traffic; and the type of driving of the vehicles (12).

Management system (10) for the road navigation of a plurality of vehicles (12) of the ADR type. The management system (10) is configured to receive input data, coming from the vehicles (12) and indicative of respective geographical positions of the vehicles (12), and generate output data towards the vehicles (12), indicative of respective alert levels for the driving of the vehicles (12). The management system (10) comprises a distance monitoring module (34) configured to: starting from the geographical positions of the vehicles (12), determine one or more groups of vehicles (12), each group of vehicles (12) comprising a respective pair of vehicles (12) which are nearest neighbors to each other among the vehicles (12) along a respective road section; and for each group of vehicles (12), determine a respective distance between the vehicles (12) starting from the respective geographical positions and through a map matching algorithm based on a graph of the respective road section. The management system (10) is further configured to determine the alert levels for the vehicles (12) based on the relative distances between the vehicles (12).
