The present disclosure concerns a loading station (4) for filling a tobacco-industry tray (10) with rod-like articles (3), comprising at least one loading assembly (30) that comprises a hopper (6) supplied with a mass flow of rod-like articles (3) for receiving and temporarily storing said articles (3), arranged to cooperate with the tray (10) in such a manner that the walls of the tray (10) encompass the hopper (6). A blocking valve (7) is positioned in the lower portion of the hopper (6) for intermittently opening and closing the mass flow of the rod-like articles (3) in order to fill the tray (10) with the rod-like articles (3). The assembly further comprises a lift (31) provided with a support element (32) for supporting the tray (10), arranged to lower the tray (10) while filling the tray (10) with the rod-like articles (3). The station according to the invention is characterized in that it is provided with an industrial robot (9) with a gripper (12) arranged to move the tobacco-industry tray (10) in a cycle comprising the stages of moving the empty tray (10) from a storage location to the hopper (6) in the filling area and set down the tray (10) on the support element (32) of the lift (31), as well as retrieving filled trays (10) from the support element (32) of the lift (31) and moving the filled tray (10) from the hopper (6) in the filling area into the storage location. The present disclosure also concerns a method of filling tobacco-industry trays.

This application discloses a loading station (4) for filling tobacco industry trays (10) with rod-like articles (3), comprising a hopper (6) that is supplied with a mass flow of the rod-like articles (3), for receiving and temporarily storing the rod-like articles (3), being arranged to cooperate with the tray (10) such that the walls of the tray (10) encompass the hopper (6), and a blocking valve (7) for interrupting the mass flow of rod-like articles (3), located in the lower part of the hopper (6), arranged to alternately open and close the mass flow of the rod-like articles (3) in order to fill the tray (10) with the rod-like articles (3). The subject of the application is a method of manufacturing a continuous rod (CR) of the tobacco industry containing, in its interior, longitudinal objects (1) placed along the entire length of the continuous rod (CR), in which the longitudinal objects (1) are arranged on the circumference of a feeding wheel (10). The method according to the invention is characterized in that longitudinal objects (1) are fed from the feeding wheel (10) onto a toothless inserting wheel (20) having a polygonal outline, on the toothless inserting wheel (20) a gapless sequence (15) of longitudinal objects (1) is formed, the objects contacting each other face-to-face at least at one point, the gapless sequence (15) of longitudinal objects (1) is introduced into the filling material (4) so that the gapless sequence (15) of longitudinal objects (1) contacts the filling material (4) and the filling material (4) is wrapped with a wrapper (6) to form a continuous rod (CR) of the filling material (4), containing longitudinal objects (1) contacting each other face-to-face, along the entire length of the continuous rod (CR). The subject of the application is also an apparatus (30) for manufacturing a continuous rod (CR) of the tobacco industry.

The invention provides a solution for enabling the conversion of account-based assets to token-based assets and the other way around to digital payment systems. This is enabled by defining a conversion protocol that is able to construct conversion instructions to the payment system regardless of its architecture and corresponding conversion system, which is designed to be implemented in the form of smart contracts residing with the settlement system of that digital payment system architecture.
