Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for high dynamic range brightness control. An example embodiment operates by determining, by at least one computer processor, a darkness level of a video frame, determining a brightness adjustment level based on the darkness level of the video frame, and adjusting a brightness level of a later frame based on at least the brightness adjustment level. The brightness level for the later video is adjusted within two video frames from the video frame.

Television sound quality has a poor reputation, sometimes due to the designs getting thinner. Common issues include distortion, clipping, muddy dialogue, and lack of bass. Some issues are due to or made worse by errors in tuning. The errors may come from improper measurements, lack of understanding, and prioritization of incorrect metrics. To address this issue, a data driven and objective predictive model is implemented to offer a consistent and scalable way to determine perceived sound quality of a wide range of audio systems. The predictive model can be used to determine optimal tuning parameters that would yield the best perceived sound quality of the audio system.

A battery management system for managing both a high-voltage traction battery and a low-voltage electronics battery can include a network manager circuit. The network manager circuit can include a wireless transceiver, which can be configured to communicate wirelessly with a high-voltage battery monitor coupled to the high-voltage traction battery. The network manager circuit can also include a first wired interface, which can be configured to communicate with a low-voltage battery monitor coupled to the low-voltage electronics battery. An example aspect operates by receiving continuous event stream which can include video streaming data from multiple video monitoring devices. The method includes identifying events in the streaming data and determining a prioritization for each of the detected events. The identification and prioritization of detected events may be further personalized based on user information. The method may then display the video streams within a visualization interface based on the detected events and prioritization.

A new method and circuit arrangement for determining a resistance of a first drive transistor in a drive system for operating a motor. The drive system comprising a first drive transistor, a first sense transistor, and a second drive transistor. The first sense transistor is arranged in parallel with the first drive transistor. Each transistor comprising a control terminal, a first channel terminal, and a second channel terminal. The first and second drive transistors are switched to operate the motor using an operating current. The first sense transistor is operated to determine the on-state resistance of the first drive transistor. The operating current flows between motor coils of the motor and the reference node through the first sense transistor.

A new method and circuit arrangement for determining a resistance of a first transistor in a drive system for operating a motor. The drive system comprising a plurality of transistors, and each transistor of the plurality of transistors comprising a control terminal, a first channel terminal, and a second channel terminal. The plurality of transistors is switched to operate the motor using an operating current. A test current is applied between the first and second channel terminals of the first transistor during the on-state of each of the plurality of transistors. The test current is a current value. A voltage difference is measured between the first and second channel terminals of the first transistor during the application of the test current. The on-state resistance of the first transistor is determined based on the current value and the measured voltage difference.

The present disclosure relates to interleaved analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that can provide an analog finite impulse response anti-alias filter. The analog finite impulse response anti-alias filter can have an impulse response duration that is longer than an interleaving time conversion window of an individual interleaved ADC of the interleaved ADC.

An example aspect operates by receiving, by at least one computer processor on the camera, a video frame including a first set of pixels. The method further includes performing the video processing on the first set of pixels to generate a second set of pixels before compressing or encoding the received video frame. The method further includes compressing the second set of pixels and causing the compressed second set of pixels to be displayed on a display device.

Described herein are isolator devices designed to reduce cracking and mechanical stress despite the use of wire bonds made of hard materials (e.g., copper-based). The isolators employ thin film dielectric materials with high dielectric strength and permittivity underneath the top coil (electrode) to enhance the isolation of the device. However, these materials are susceptible to cracking. Described herein are designs in which the dielectric material is partially removed from the isolator. A dielectric layer may be kept in the region(s) where its large dielectric permittivity is particularly beneficial (e.g., near the edge of a coil) but may be removed from the region immediately underneath the bonding pad, where a large amount of pressure is applied during the bonding process. Optionally, a cushion layer is employed to absorb some of the energy produced during the bonding process.
