Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to heterophasic polypropylene compositions comprising a propylene homo- or copolymer forming a crystalline fraction as a matrix and an amorphous propylene ethylene elastomer as a soluble fraction dispersed in said matrix. The heterophasic polypropylene compositions further comprise an elastomeric ethylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer. The heterophasic polypropylene compositions have a well-balanced relation between stiffness and impact strength, low volatile and semi-volatile emissions and good processability. |

The invention relates to a polypropylene composition (C) comprising: (i) 62 to 85 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition (C), of a heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO1) with a melt flow rate MFR 2 (230 °C) measured according to ISO 1133 in the range of 6.0 to 50.0 g/10min; (ii) 10 to 30 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition (C), of a heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO2) with a melt flow rate MFR 2 (230 °C) measured according to ISO 1133 in the range of 0.1 to 5.5 g/10min; (iii) 5 to 30 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition (C), of an inorganic filler (F); wherein (a) the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO1) has a lower amount [in mol%] of C 2 and/or C 4 to C 12 ±-olefin derived comonomer units than the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO2); (b) the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO1) has a lower the intrinsic viscosity (IV) than the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO2); and (c) the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO2) has an intrinsic viscosity (IV) in the range of 6.0 to 15.0 dl/g. |

A heterophasic propylene copolymer composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO), comprising a matrix (A) comprising a propylene homo- or copolymer, said propylene homo- or copolymer comprises at least three propylene homo- and/or copolymer fractions, propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1), propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2) and propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A3), wherein propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1) has a melt flow rate MFR<sub>2</sub> (230°C) in the range of from 300 g/10min to 600 g/10min, propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2) has a melt flow rate MFR<sub>2</sub> (230°C) in the range of from 100 to 250 g/10 min, and propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A3) has a melt flow rate MFR<sub>2</sub> (230°C) in the range of from 0.5 to 25 g/10 min, preferably in the range of from 1 to 20 g/10min; and an elastomeric propylene copolymer (B), preferably a uni- or bimodal elastomeric propylene copolymer, more preferably a unimodal elastomeric propylene copolymer, dispersed in said matrix (A), wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer composition has a melt flow rate MFR<sub>2</sub> (230°C) of at least 80 g/10 min; the amount of propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A3) is in the range of from 5.0 wt.% to less than 15.0 wt.% based on the total amount of all propylene homo- and/or copolymer fractions present in the matrix (A); and the soluble fraction (SF) according to CRYSTEX QC of the heterophasic propylene copolymer composition comprises less than 18.0 wt.% of the total heterophasic propylene copolymer composition (HECO). |

A heterophasic propylene copolymer composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO), comprising a matrix (A) comprising a propylene homo- or copolymer, said propylene homo- or copolymer comprises at least two propylene homo- and/or copolymer fractions, propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1) and propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2), wherein propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1) has a melt flow rate MFR2 (230°C) of 250 g/10 min or more, preferably of 300 g/10min or more, more preferably of more than 300 g/10min, and propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2) has a melt flow rate MFR2 (230°C) in the range of from 0.5 to 25 g/10 min, preferably in the range of from 1 to 20 g/10min; and an elastomeric propylene copolymer (B), preferably a uni- or bimodal elastomeric propylene copolymer, more preferably a unimodal elastomeric propylene copolymer, dispersed in said matrix (A), wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer composition has a melt flow rate MFR2 (230°C) of at least 50 g/10 min; the amount of propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1) is from 45 wt.% to 95 wt.% based on the total amount of all propylene homo- and/ or copolymer fractions present in the matrix (A); the amount of propylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2) is from 5 wt.% to less than 15 wt.% based on the total amount of all propylene homo- and/or copolymer fractions present in the matrix (A); and the xylene cold soluble fraction (XCS) of the heterophasic propylene copolymer composition comprises more than 18 wt.% of the total heterophasic propylene copolymer composition (HECO). |
