The invention relates to a method for using an uncrewed aerial system with both a first and a second mobile communication network having, or using, different network identifiers in relation to or in the framework of application layer support for uncrewed aerial systems,wherein the uncrewed aerial system is enabled to use connectivity provided by the first and, alternatively, provided by the second mobile communication network via an uncrewed aerial system application enabler server, UAE server, to an uncrewed aerial system application specific server, and wherein the uncrewed aerial system corresponds to, or realizes,-- an uncrewed aerial system application specific client on an uncrewed aerial system application specific layer, and-- an uncrewed aerial system application enabler client on an uncrewed aerial system application enabler layer,wherein the uncrewed aerial system has, using a dual subscription functionality, both a native subscription to the first mobile communication network and to the second mobile communication network,wherein, in order to realize, for command and control purposes, a certain quality-of-service level and/or service continuity, the method comprises the following steps:-- in a first step, the uncrewed aerial system application enabler server is connected to both the first and the second mobile communication network, and the uncrewed aerial system application specific server transmits a message to the uncrewed aerial system application enabler server, UAE server, thereby requesting a command and control connectivity configuration request regarding the uncrewed aerial system,-- in a second step, the uncrewed aerial system application enabler server transmits, to the uncrewed aerial system application specific server, a command and control operation mode management response regarding the uncrewed aerial system and configures the uncrewed aerial system application enabler client and the uncrewed aerial system application specific client of the uncrewed aerial system accordingly.

The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for optimizing signal reception in a cellular communications network with a plurality of antennas for communicating with terminals. The method comprising: specifying a set S of candidate sites s and a set D of candidate antenna configurations, CAC, for placement of one or more antennas at the candidate sites s; specifying a set P of pixels p, each pixel p corresponding to a geographic location within a service area for which signal reception should be optimized; selecting a set Bp of candidate best servers, CBS, for each pixel p based on an expected radio signal strength for a terminal at the geographic location corresponding to the respective pixel p, each set Bp comprising zero or more candidate servers corresponding to one of the candidate sites s and one of the CAC; and determining a set of proposed servers. The determination is based at least on: an optimized aggregated signal-to-noise ratio, SNR, computed for all pixels p in case all of the proposed servers of the set which are built at the corresponding candidate sites s with the corresponding CAC, and a first restriction requiring that, from each set Bp of CBS, at most a single CBS is included in the set of proposed servers. The present disclosure further relates to a quantum concept processor and a computer program.

The invention pertains to a computer-implemented method for optimizing an assignment of frequencies (f) to cells (C) of a mobile communications network (1). The cells (C) are distributed for communication within the mobile communications network (1). A set of unplanned cells (2) in the mobile communications network (1) is specified. For each unplanned cell (2) a set of frequencies (f) to be potentially assigned to this unplanned cell (2) is specified. Frequency interference probabilities (p) of selected cell pairs are calculated, wherein each cell pair defines a relation of an unplanned cell (2) to another cell (c) within the mobile communications network (1). Then, terms of a stress function are formulated, each term connecting a calculated frequency interference probability (p) of a respective cell pair with a frequency relation between the cells (2, c) of the respective cell pair. An optimized assignment of frequencies (f) is determined by using a quantum concept processor (7), thereby selecting for each unplanned cell (2) a sub-set of frequencies (f) from the respective set of frequencies, such that the stress function is minimized.
