Zusammenfassung
A method for treating food in an appliance (14) by at least one treatment device of the appliance (14) comprises the steps of a. providing a food recognition system with at least one camera image of a food item to be treated by the appliance (14)(S1), b. picture data about the food item by extracting a number of at least one characteristic features of the food item from the at least one camera image (S2), c. assigning a food identification to the food item based on at least one of the number of characteristic features (S4, S6), d. executing a food treatment process or program allocated to the assigned food identification (S8). According to the invention, the camera image is provided during step a. (S1) by an external camera device (12, 14), wherein the camera image provision is executed - by data retrieval by the food recognition system, and/or - by data transfer by the mobile camera device (12, 20), and/or - on the operator's initiation. Further disclosed is a food treatment system comprising an appliance (14) for treating food and an external camera device (12, 20) as well as a software application. |

The present invention discloses a steam generator for a steam oven in particular used to evaporate water for the purpose of food preparation. The configuration in an L-shape combined with an inner profile maximizing the heat transfer surface increases the power density and facilitates limestone removal during heating and cooling of the steam generator (500). The configuration acts as a natural drain for debris that is generated during operation. By mounting the longer arm (502)of an L-shaped steam generator in a horizontal position and corresponding dimensioning of the heat transfer area, optimum conditions for household appliances can be achieved. A support structure (530) fixes the steam generator (500) in such a position in the household appliance (600). |

The present invention refers to a mthod of operating a laundry drying machine (10), such as a heat pump laundry dryer or a heat pump washing machine having drying function, in order to carry out a laundry treatment process on a laundry load (L) comprising a drying cycle, wherein the laundry drying machine (10) comprises: a control unit (11) controlling the operation of the laundry drying machine (10), a laundry treatment chamber (12) for treating laundry using process air (A), a process air circuit (13) for circulating the process air (A), a heat pump system (14 ) having a refrigerant loop (15), in which the refrigerant fluid (R) is circulated through a first and a second heat exchanger (16a,16b) in thermal communication with the process air (A), a compressor (17) for circulating the refrigerant fluid (R) through the refrigerant loop (15), and wherein the method comprises the following steps: - driving the compressor (17) by means of the control unit (11) according to a first driving sequence in a first portion (Pi) of the drying cycle; - driving the compressor (17) by means of the control unit (11) according to a second driving sequence in a second portion (P2) of the drying cycle different from the first portion; characterized in thatthe second driving sequence provides for driving the compressor (17) intermittently between a lower level of energy and an upper level of energy wherein the lower and upper level of energy and a condition for ending the second driving sequence are defined depending on one or more parameters of the following first list: - laundry load (L) amount; - moisture content of laundry load (L); - temperature of laundry load (L); - temperature of the process air (A); - temperature and/or humidity of the environment where the laundry drying machine (10) is placed; - laundry treatment program selected by a user; - laundry treatment process or drying process time; - a preset value of energy consumption. |
