Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to a one-piece fastening element (20) for a cooking hob (10). The fastening element (20) comprises a first portion (22) being permanently connectable to an upper part (12) of the cooking hob (10) and a second portion (24) being detachably connectable to a lower part (14) of the cooking hob (10), so that the upper part (12) and the lower part (14) form the cooking hob (10). The first portion (22) of the fastening element (20) is formed as a plane sheet extending in a horizontal plane. The second portion (24) of the fastening element (20) comprises at least two spring elements (26), provided for a sidewall of the cooking hob (10) in order to clamp the cooking hob (10) within a cutout (34) of a worktop (36) enclosing circumferentially the cooking hob (10). The second portion (24) of the fastening element (20) includes a latch element (28) arranged between the two spring elements (26). The spring elements (26) have a U-shaped form and elastic properties which cause them to act in a radial direction. The latch element (28) includes a lug element (32), wherein said lug element (32) is engageable with a recess (42) formed in the side wall of the lower part (14) of the cooking hob (10), and wherein said lug element (32) extends outwards into a radial direction in a mounted state of the fastening element (20), and wherein the latch element (28) is aligned at an inner side of the side wall of the lower part (14) in the mounted state of the fastening element (20). |

A method for boiling detection in an induction heating system is disclosed, in which the induction heating system comprises an electrically conducting load and an inverter circuit comprising a switching section and a resonant section, the switching section comprising switching devices adapted to generate an AC current from an AC input voltage comprising a plurality of half-waves, and the resonant section comprising an induction heating coil adapted to receive the AC current for generating a corresponding time-varying magnetic field in order to generate heat in the electrically conducting load by inductive coupling, wherein the AC current oscillates at an actuation frequency of the switching devices and has an envelope comprising a plurality of half-waves corresponding to the half-waves of the AC input voltage, and wherein the amount of heat generated in the load depends on the frequency of the AC current. The method comprises performing at least once the following sequence of steps: (a) varying, within a same half-wave of the envelope, the actuation frequency according to a sequence of actuation frequency values, each actuation frequency value of the sequence being set for a corresponding time interval corresponding to a fraction of the duration of the half-wave of the envelope; (b) for each actuation frequency value of the sequence, calculating a corresponding current peak value based on a corresponding set of at least one absolute value peak assumed by the AC current during the corresponding time interval, so as to generate a corresponding current peak/actuation frequency relation; and (c) based on evaluating variations in the current peak/actuation frequency relations generated for plural actuation frequencies, determining a boiling condition. |

The invention relates to a method for operating a laundry drying apparatus, in particular a laundry dryer or a washer-dryer, during a drying program, and a laundry drying apparatus. The laundry drying apparatus (2) comprises: a drum (18) adapted to receive laundry (19) for drying the laundry using drying air; a drying air fan (8) adapted to convey drying air through the drum (18); a motor (46) adapted to drive the drying air fan (8); a heat-pump system (4) comprising a first heat exchanger (10) adapted to heat the drying air, a second heat exchanger (12) adapted to cool the drying air for humidity condensation, and a compressor (16) adapted to circulate refrigerant through the first and second heat exchangers (10, 12); and a laundry load indicating or detecting unit adapted to determine or estimate a laundry amount of laundry loaded into the drum (18), wherein the compressor (16) is a variable speed and/or variable power compressor. The method comprises: starting a drying program for drying the laundry received in the drum (18); operating the compressor (16) at an initial compressor output; the laundry load indicating or detecting unit (52) determining or estimating a laundry amount at least once during the drying program; setting a threshold value in dependency of the laundry amount; monitoring an operation parameter of the laundry drying apparatus; and operating the compressor (16) at a reduced compressor output if the monitored operation parameter reaches or exceeds the set threshold value. |
