The present disclosure relates to an enclosure for an electric device in a high voltage electric field, the enclosure (1) comprising at least one top element (2) and at least one corresponding bottom element (3) extending circumferentially from a centre portion (6), wherein the top and the bottom elements are plate-like elements disposed substantially parallel to each other at a predetermined distance to provide a space therebetween. According to an embodiment, the gasket system (10) for an electric device (100) comprises a gasket (1) which is configured to be non-permeable for an insulating fluid used for the operation of the electric device. The gasket system further comprises an imbibing material (2) which is configured to absorb the insulating fluid used for the operation of the electric device. The gasket and the imbibing material are arrangeable one after the other in a region of the electric device, which is to be sealed so that, if the insulating fluid used for the operation of the electric device passes one of the gasket and the imbibing material, the insulating fluid will hit the respective other one of the gasket and the imbibing material.

There is disclosed herein a converter arrangement (1), configured to be connected to an AC power grid (2), comprising a first MMC unit (10) comprising an upper arm (12) for each phase of the AC power grid and a lower arm (14) connected between a first phase (2a) of the AC power grid and a lower terminal (40). The upper arms are connected to a first upper terminal (16) having a first voltage. A vacuum interrupter assembly (10) for a power diverter switch comprises a vacuum interrupter (11) and a driving mechanism (12) which is coupled to the vacuum interrupter (11) and which is configured to drive opening and closing of electrical contacts of the vacuum interrupter (11). The driving mechanism (12) includes a driving rod (19) and a guiding tube (18) enclosing the driving rod (19) such that the driving rod (19) is axially movable inside the guiding tube (18) along a longitudinal axis (L) of the vacuum interrupter assembly (10). A damping unit (20) is coupled with the driving mechanism (12) and comprises a first chamber (21), a second chamber (22) and a piston (29) arranged there between with respect to the longitudinal axis (L), wherein the chambers (21, 22) are coupled with each other hydraulically and limited by the guiding tube (18) and the piston (29), and wherein the piston (29) is coupled with the driving rod (19) axially movable along the longitudinal axis (L) such that in interaction with a fluid the damping unit (20) provides hydraulic damping both when opening and when closing the electrical contacts of the vacuum interrupter (11) due to movement of the driving rod (19) and the piston (29) .

There is disclosed herein methods for synchronizing clocks in power grid devices. A method performed by a clock-leader unit comprises receiving an indication of a new clock signal for a plurality of clock-follower units to follow, for use in synchronizing clocks of the plurality of clock-follower units, and sending an instruction to the plurality of clock-follower units to calibrate based on the new clock signal. The method then comprises obtaining a confirmation that the plurality of clock-follower units has completed calibration and, in response to obtaining the confirmation, sending an instruction to the clock-follower units to follow the new clock signal. By co-ordinating the transition of clock-follower units to following the new clock signal, a synchronization of time operations between the clock-follower units can be better maintained.
