The present invention relates to a method for activating a lithium secondary battery, which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte, wherein the lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode active material made of lithium metal oxide containing 50 mol% or more and less than 100 mol% of manganese based on the total metal content excluding lithium, the method comprising: activating the lithium secondary battery by a CC-CV charging method in which constant current(CC) charging is performed until a specified state of charge(%SOC) is reached, and then constant voltage(CV) charging is performed, wherein the CC-CV charging of the activation step is ended at a time point when the activation charge depth defined by the following equation 1 becomes 5.17% to 15.00%. The present invention relates to a pouch film laminate including a base layer, a gas barrier layer, and a sealant layer, which are sequentially laminated, wherein the sealant layer contains a slip agent of 5 mg/m² to 25 mg/m², present on a surface thereof, the sealant layer has a surface roughness Ra of 0.1 µm to 0.5 µm, and the amount of the slip agent is determined by cutting the pouch film laminate to 100 mm in an MD direction x 100 mm in a TD direction, dropping 5 ml of chloroform on the surface of the sealant layer of the pouch film laminate, and allowing the resulting product to stand for 1 minute to prepare a slip agent extraction solution, and then measuring an amount of the slip agent contained in the slip agent extraction solution using gas chromatography.

The pressing structure may suppress porosification in a negative electrode and dendrite formation on the negative electrode surface during charging and discharging of the lithium-sulfur battery.
