Provided is a cylindrical battery cell having a simple structure, a simple assembly process, and high energy density. An electrode assembly is accommodated in an accommodation space of a can of the battery cell. One electrode of the electrode assembly is bonded to an end wall provided at a lower end portion of the can, and the other electrode of the electrode assembly is bonded to a cap covering an opening provided at an upper end portion of the can. The bonding is performed by irradiating a laser to the end wall and an outer surface of the cap to penetrate and weld the end wall and the outer surface of the cap. A first current collecting plate including a radially extending portion and an axially extending portion is interposed between the cap and the electrode assembly. The radially extending portion is bonded to a first electrode of the electrode assembly, and an upper end portion of the axially extending portion is bonded to a bottom surface of the cap.

A battery module according to an embodiment includes: a battery cell laminate that is formed by stacking a plurality of battery cells; and a busbar frame that covers at least one surface of the battery cell laminate, and on which at least two terminal busbars electrically connected to the battery cell laminate are mounted, wherein the terminal busbar includes at least one combining slit for electrical connection with external configuration.

A method for manufacturing electrode according to some embodiments includes: a guide liquid application step of applying a guide liquid defining an electrode slurry application region on the current collector sheet; an electrode slurry application step of applying electrode slurry onto the electrode slurry application region; and a drying step of drying the guide liquid and the electrode slurry, wherein the guide liquid can be evaporated by 85 to 95 wt% during the drying step. Some embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the edge profile of the electrode.
