The present invention relates to a connector. The connector according to one aspect of the present invention is a battery cell connector for electrically connecting a battery cell to the outside, and comprises: a base member having a lead surface on which an electrode lead of the battery cell can be placed; and a conducting assembly coupled to the base member so as to be electrically connectable to the electrode lead placed on the lead surface, wherein the conducting assembly can include: a conductive contact member movably coupled to the base member so that at least a part thereof can protrude from the lead surface of the base member; and an elastic member for elastically supporting the contact member toward the lead surface of the base member.

A battery pack according to certain embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of battery cells; a pack frame including a bottom frame and a side frame that form a storage space in which the battery cells are stored; a spacer that is located on an upper part of the bottom frame and on which the battery cells are seated; a holding frame that is located on an upper part of the spacer and formed with holes into which the battery cells are fitted; and a coolant that flows in a space between the spacer and the holding frame so as to directly cool the battery cells inside the pack frame.

A method for diagnosing a battery according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a differential profile generating step of generating a differential profile representing a relationship between a differential capacity, which is obtained by differentiating a capacity of a battery with respect to a voltage of the battery, and the voltage, for each predetermined diagnosis cycle; a target peak detecting step of detecting a target peak in which a differential capacity value decreases and then increases or a voltage value increases and then decreases as a usage time of the battery increases, among peaks of the differential profile; a peak information obtaining step of obtaining target peak information including the differential capacity value and the voltage value of the target peak from each of the plurality of differential profiles generated while the diagnosis cycle is repeated multiple times; and a diagnosing step of diagnosing a state of the battery based on the target peak information obtained from the plurality of differential profiles.

The apparatus for diagnosing a battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a profile obtaining unit configured to obtain a differential profile representing a corresponding relationship between a differential capacity and a voltage of a battery; and a control unit configured to determine a target peak from the differential profile, calculate a voltage change rate based on a SOH of the battery and a target voltage of the target peak, and compare the calculated voltage change rate with a preset reference change rate to diagnose a state of the battery.

The control unit is configured to: determine a target temperature and a target C-rate corresponding to charging/discharging conditions based on a preset reference profile that represents the correspondence between a threshold temperature and a threshold C-rate; control the charging/discharging unit to charge or discharge the battery at the target C-rate when the battery temperature corresponds to the target temperature; and generate a battery profile corresponding to the battery based on the battery information.
