A single-pass imaging system utilizes a two-dimensional (2D) light field generator (e.g., one or more VCSEL devices) to generate a modulated two-dimensional modulated light field in accordance with image data for a single row of pixels, and an anamorphic optical system that concentrates the two-dimensional modulated light field in a process direction such that a one-dimensional scan line image extending in a cross-process direction is generated on an imaging surface. The VCSEL array is configured using a scan line image data group made up of pixel image data portions, with associated groups of light emitting elements aligned in the process direction being configured by each pixel image data portion. Gray scaling is achieved either by turning on some of the light emitting elements of the associated group, or by turning the light emitting elements of the associated group partially on, e.g. using a common drive current. |

A method for substantially simultaneously bonding multiple semiconductor chips (116A, 116B) of different height profiles on a flexible substrate (100) comprises: providing a flexible substrate (100) with printed conductive traces (102); placing an anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACA) (104) over at least portions of the printed conductive traces (102) of the flexible substrate (100), the ACA (104) including a thermosetting adhesive and conductive spherical elements; tacking the ACA (104) in place by application of heat and pressure for a predetermined time; positioning and orientating a first side of each of multiple semiconductor chips (116A, 116B) to align with selected locations of the printed conductive traces (102) of the flexible substrate (100) lying under the ACA (104), wherein at least one of the multiple semiconductor chips (116A, 116B) has a height profile different from at least one other one of the multiple semiconductor chips (116A, 116B); curing the thermosetting adhesive of the ACA (104) by applying heat and pressure, wherein the pressure is applied, with a deformable bonding head (206), an expandable elastic membrane (304) or a plurality of movable pins (402) held in a support structure (e.g., a pin screen) (404), to a second side of each of the multiple semiconductor chips (116A, 116B), the applying of the pressure pressing and deforming the conductive spherical elements of the ACA (104), wherein electrical contact is made between the semiconductor chips (116A, 116B) and at least portions of the printed conductive traces (102). A corresponding semiconductor chip bonding device (200, 300, 400) is also disclosed. |

One embodiment provides a system that deletes cached content. During operation, the system generates, by a content producing device, a content object packet that includes a name for the content object and a deletion identifier that is used to verify a subsequent deletion command. The system receives a notification message that includes a routable prefix for a router and indicates that the router has cached the content object packet. The system stores in a data structure a mapping between the routable prefix, the name, and a previously generated deletion token which is used as a pre-image of the deletion identifier. In response to determining a condition to delete the cached content object packet, the system transmits a deletion command based on the routable prefix, wherein the deletion command includes the deletion token and the name for the cached copy of the content object packet to be deleted. |
