Provided are a cell balance device capable of protecting a switch circuit when an overcurrent flows through the switch circuit so as to prevent the switch circuit from being broken down, and a battery system including the cell balance devices. The cell balance device includes: a plurality of electric accumulator connection terminals to be each connected to one of a node and two terminals of a plurality of electric accumulators connected in series; a voltage hold device connection terminal to be connected to a voltage hold device; a plurality of first switch circuits provided between the plurality of electric accumulator connection terminals and the voltage hold device; a receiving terminal for receiving a synchronization signal; a transmitting terminal for transmitting the synchronization signal; a control circuit for controlling ON/OFF of the plurality of first switch circuits based on the synchronization signal; and an overcurrent detection circuit for detecting an overcurrent flowing through each of the plurality of first switch circuits. |

Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a bottomed cylindrical positive electrode casing and a negative electrode casing which is fixed to an opening of the positive electrode casing through a gasket. The opening of the positive electrode casing is caulked to the negative electrode casing side to seal the accommodation space. A diameter d is in a range of 6.6 mm to 7.0 mm, and a height h1 is in a range of 1.9 mm to 2.3 mm. A shortest distance L1 between a caulking tip end and the negative electrode casing in the opening of the positive electrode casing is equal to or less than 110% of an average sheet thickness of the positive electrode casing, a shortest distance L2 between a tip end of the negative electrode casing and the positive electrode casing is equal to or less than 100% of the average sheet thickness of the positive electrode casing, and a distance L3 between the tip end of the negative electrode casing and the bottom of the positive electrode casing is equal to or less than 75% of the average sheet thickness of the positive electrode casing. |

Specifically, the negative electrode can and the positive electrode can are formed by using high manganese stainless steel or SUS305 having a high nickel (Ni) content. In this way, the negative electrode can and the positive electrode can are formed of non-magnetic stainless steel which maintains non-magnetic properties even after being processed into the shape of a coin, and thus it is possible to provide a non-magnetic electrochemical cell, and as a result thereof, it is possible to provide an electrochemical cell which is not affected even at the time of being arranged in the vicinity of a magnet. |
